Don't think this has been shared here, TSHA's Fabric mix

Haven't gone through it all yet, but probably a bit of the vibe she'll bring to Arcadia

I can fuck with this - can't wait.

It is a possibility, however I read on a different thread that Kae doesn't want to do as many sets this year so they can enjoy the festival more.  No idea how reliable that info is though!

I was the original poster of that info & I am assured it was accurate at time of posting.
However there has now been a change of plan & more sets have been secured.

Fantastic! While I can understand why they'd want to enjoy more of the festival, how can you say no to playing on some of the best stages in the world?

Just copped that Chloe Robinson confirmed she’s playing in the Park area.

Is Stonebridge the only dance venue in Park? I spent absolutely 0 time in the area the last time so haven’t a clue.

Special Request is doing a takeover on Stone Bridge - given their ties you'd imagine she is involved in that

Sorry if covered before but I cannot stand that new Jamie XX song. Over 7 minutes and literally no substance. Afriad of hearing it a lot this summer too...

I think it's pretty cool. Doesn't have much bass though - I think the mixdown is off.

and he *really* needs some new drum sounds.

Agree. Nothing there. No layers. Awful. And goes nowhere. Really disappointing

@Superunknown - if you're still looking for thoughts about genres/sub-genres, search for Client_03 on Spotify and play the first few 'most popular' tracks on the page - classic sound for electro, but also with some fantastic 303-type acid squelch in there too.

Ben

If you want some Client_03 action, a little bird told me you should head to Platform 23 around 5am Friday night/ Saturday morning 👀 I'll see you there if I haven't dropped by then!

That sounds bloody perfect. What a way to finish the first full night. However, where on earth is Platform 23?! Is it a new venue for Shangri-La or have I just previously missed it?

Shangri-la apparently! If I hear anything different I'll post on here 😉

Google brings up the Shangri la page when you search ‘platform 23 Glastonbury’ but platform is nowhere on the page! Suspicious 😀

Do we think Groove Armada will play live as well as the DJ set at Silver Hayes? They weren't on this year's main poster (but were on the 2020 one) which suggests perhaps not but wondering if anyone had any intel. Cheers!

Headlining The Glade is pretty much my last hope on this one. They're on site and clearly get on well with the festival so to not have a live set on their "final" live tour would be a huge missed opportunity.

Was half hoping for an earlier set on a larger stage but can't see where they'd fit in. Imagine them third down or subbing West Holts - it would be amazing!

    • Yesterday was another brilliant day of music for me. Some highlights:  My Bloody Valentine - absolutely loved it! Maybe my main festival highlight. I felt submerged in the music with all the layers and distortion. It becomes hypnotic almost as it progresses. Not as loud as some thought it might be, but it didn’t need to be. The visuals added a lot too. During the noise part of You Made me Realise, I was basically in a trance staring at the visual tunnel or whatever it was on screen. Amazing experience. Little Simz - as she mentioned at the start, you’re guaranteed a good time with her. Great performance just like in 2022. Zero complaints. The little DJ section wasn't something I expected but was cool. Kneecap - I had a blast but at this point in the night I was at my most intoxicated let's say, so I don’t remember it as clearly as I'd have liked to!    The xx - The sound for this was perfectly balanced (at least where I was) and the band were great. Lots of talkers, but with the crowd size and being kind of far back, it's to be expected. Intro was one of my favourite moments this year. Big Thief - really good live performers. The lead singer has a lovely voice. This was a nice chill way to kick off the mordor gigs for me.
    • I've been attending Primavera every year since my first one in 2017 & it's always been my favourite week of the year, but I think things have changed.   Firstly, the site just feels too busy in this current set-up. I'm sure it was a lot easier back in 2017-19 to get between the stages & then a good spot for the next one, but now you increasingly have to sacrifice parts of a set or miss them out completely to plan for later on. I wish we still had the Bits area over the bridge to spread everyone out.   But the main issue is the talking, it's always been here but this year it's been relentless & I just can't tolerate it any more. It's at every stage, and everywhere from the front to the back, there is no escape. Not focusing on nationalities, but a major dynamic now seems to be groups of people who are only focusing on their own good time & aren't interested if this affects anyone else. It seems essential that all members of the group are together at the same time, so it's people making telephone calls, people on shoulders waving phone torches, people barging through. It's alright, I'm only trying to watch The Cure here.   I will have a year away to think about it. I thought might give up completely but yesterday was a bit of a classic day after two unenjoyable ones. Adding Olivia Rodrigo to Baxter Dury, Gelli Haha, The XX, Gorillaz & Kneecap shows how good it can be, but as with everything, it's always the people that have the biggest impact.
