It might be the case that particular areas - the smaller stages - have been given dates they're allowed to announce on, that are unrelated to any major announcement.

Sorry if it's been posted, but the shangri-la Twitter has posted 'it's almost there' and you click the link and it has a countdown. Any thoughts?

the hastag was #shangelection - so surely more likely just to announce what's going on etc. at Shangri La rather than full line-up

you're probably right - Scott's just said to me that he thinks it's that, which normally comes before the line-up announcements.

I would imagine it could just be them announcing the theme and some acts for Shangri-La, they tend to do a big reveal each year around the area itself don't they? Probably not line-up related.

There was a Shangri-La announcement on 3rd April and the main line-up on 28th March in 2013 when the Stones played (according to a quick google). So they are close but not simultaneous,

That's the full thing isn't it? There were the major announcements on 28th March 2013 and 4th April 2014.

I would love it if they just put TBC on the line up for the third headliner, would be pretty exciting to wait till arriving on site to find out who. And also this thread would continue to go around in circles..

I think this is the first time most of the stages are pretty unknown
