it's not like he'll even be involved with the actual signing/contracts, these days it's all done through bookers/agents and for the bigger acts, their lawyers.

half the time when we're booking acts we don't even speak to the artist until we pick them up at the airport, their manager/booking agent is the only one we've talked with.

Who's we?

Croke Park in Ireland (cap. 80,000) is holding a concert this summer (most likely in late May or June as there are sporting events for most of July and August).

Ed Sheeran was rumoured, but the radio station that originally announced the concert is saying that it will be Bruce Springsteen

could he do Glastonbury again?

Coldplay were supposed to be doing stadiums this summer. Also Muse haven't an Irish date yet but that might be a bit big for them.

I wouldn't think Bruce would be touring again this year, and certainly not showing up at Glastonbury.

Scratching my head at this

Kinda hope they've given the mode a call imo

I am hoping they done it a long time ago and they have been holed up, working on a special Glasto set.

    • It was fine, just hectic! The youngsters were mostly very well-behaved. The weather was a real bonus, although surprisingly chilly evenings - I guess it's the altitude - and the area between sound and main stage was a massive dust bowl.
    • Ive always had a lot of time for the mighty Shots, a pal of mine used to commentate on their games for Sussex Counties radio and he'd sneak me into the ground for midweek games, and we'd even nick a tea and a plate of sandwiches. This is back in the George Borg days, so um . . a little while ago now
    • Hmm, weird- Rush are playing the Co-Op live on the 12th and the 14th, and Megadeth are the meat in that sandwich - so they have to roll everything in, roll it out again, only to roll it back in and then out - here's hoping for a prog hokey-cokey with all manner of bizarre time signatures and drum solos!
    • Depends what you mean by seeing 'more stuff' about it.    I definitely don't trust the original Sun article.
