Haha dude, it's a probability. The question is would you rather Glasto actually announced more like T and R&L rather than the suspense of waiting? It's agonizing waiting to hear, I always dread the clashes but I still say Coachella was the worst one I waited for. Until the last two years lineups, when it's been basically the same time both years, it is just announced, you don't even know when, at least Glasto tell you April 1st (more likely anytime after). I think it was supposed to be earlier but finally conceded defeat on The Stones haha.

Nah, I'd much rather wait (assuming that if they sorted it out quickly the line-up would be worse).

I've been 5 times this year though, so I know what to expect - and I also know that the cliche 'it's not just about the line-up man' is true.

I can see why many people my age - the 'I want it now' generation - can't be arsed with getting up at 9am on a Sunday for tickets and then waiting six months for the line-up though. Especially when they can just go online now and get Reading or V Fest tickets knowing the line-up already.

For a Glastonbury crowd, I reckon Bjork's a much bigger pull than Ben Howard or Jake Bugg. Fair enough they've sold loads of CDs and play arenas, but she's along the lines of Portishead and Massive Attack, she's got roots in that Worthy Farm soil.

There's also no reason whatsoever for her to play a higher slot than last time (to answer the person who suggested her as a Pyramid headliner).

Well that's just crazy talk, she would be better playing one of the smaller stages.

When she headlined the first connect festival a dance act played after her(can't remember who), that would be perfect.

I won't be there anyway so I'm just babbling.

Her mental, bass heavy version of Hyperballad (Other 2007) was the most suitable to a large stage experience I've ever had in my life.

There is a video of it on YouTube, but it's utterly shit compared to being there.

What? Crazy talk from me or the person suggesting Pyramid?

This is bullshit, Bjork is equally or more popular from all the Other headliners since QOTSA.

Behave lol, nothing else needs adding

She really isn't though.

I can't see her selling as many records as Jake bugg and hasn't he played arenas recently?

Wilderness is a funny one you have Bjork who doesn't play very big venues, played acadamies on her last UK tour(5-6 years ago). Then you have Ben Howard who's played/playing arenas on his tour.

What he said. Ben Howard strikes me as someone with a bigger bigger appeal at his own gigs than out of them at wider events.

Are you actually on something? Did you see the crowd Jake Bugg got on the Pyramid the 1st time playing like 3rd from bottom? You couldn't bloody move! thetime is like Bjork's biggest fan, I think he knows

Asking me if I'm on something and ask me if I saw Jake Bugg on the Pyramid in the same post, great work.

My first (and only) time seeing her. One of my favourite Glastonbury gigs. Perfect really.

as much as i think she'd be great on the pyramid i don't think she's big enough to pull the crowd, yes she's got a massive fan base but no compared to the likes of the last few headliners

i think the other stage is logical, she's not exactly decreased in popularity since 2007 especially with this latest album so i can't see why she'd go down a stage

to be fair she could be playing in a log drop pit and i'd still go and watch her

The MIF date is being billed as her first European show so it's looking unlikely for glastonbury unfortunately. I have tickets for MIF but it would have been good to see her at the festival again.

Going to be hammering the MIF ticket sale tomorrow. It's tempting to lie and get the £12 one, but that would make me scum, so I'll have to pay £45. Fuuuuuuuck I hope Latitude doesn't sell out before my next payday. It's a goddamn expensive month.

shit, £45 isn't cheap but i'll be fuming if i don't get a ticket and she's not at Glastonbury

i don't like how it says "This will be Björk's first European show since the release of her acclaimed new album Vulnicura." that makes it sound like she's not coming :(

If there's a red X through B. Gudmundsdottir that's someone else they need to find to headline the Other Stage. The pool's dwindling as fast as the Pyramid's.

Top shelf of the Other Stage seems pretty grim at the moment - certainly moreso than the Pyramid for me. Ben Howard TBC and probably best suited for it, alt-j apparently offered it, Chemical Brothers are okay but back every few years and I wouldn't be surprised if the Friday they're all ruled out for is deadmau5.

Sorry this is the Bjork thread. If she wasn't any sort of Wilderness exclusive, maybe there's a chance she'll be at Green Man?

Sorry this isn't the Green Man thread either. How about them growlers?
