Bjork's just announced 2 more festivals, they're both in July so that puts her out and about between 5th of June for The Governors Ball and Ostrava Festival on the 16th of July

so she's definitely up for doing festivals, she's playing gigs between the festival time and she's played before

I'm certainly hopefully she's going to make an appearance

That's made me really nervous now...

...I had kind of resigned myself to her NOT playing GF as she wanted to do venues that could accomodate the orchestra etc.

Now I know she is, I've got this horrible feeling that GF will lose her to an exclusive at Latitude or Bestival...

I think that the Latitude people have said that one of their 10th anniversary headliners will be someone they've been trying to get for ages. Don't let it be Bjork! Or if it is, not a UK exclusive...

I only got to see her once so far, Ghandi - Wolverhampton Civic on the Volta tour. Acoustics there are very hit and miss - can be great, but also worst sound I ever had at a gig was there for Supergrass in ninety ninety whatever. But Bjork was mesmeric - particularly the Medulla songs, which are amazing live. She seems to have retained a few of those (Pleasure is all mine, Who is it etc) foir a while now and hope that she continues to, as they sit beautifully with songs from Vulnicura (still loving it more each listen) and Vespertine.

I think " Pleasure is all mine" and " Who is it " are the best tracks off Medulla, can't get into the rest of the album though, Vespertine is class form start to finish and i'm loving Vulnicura, i will be intrigued to see what she does with it live, i'd imagine she'll just play it out in order as it's meant to be with a large orchestra and a choir, it will sound amazing. A festival set however would have to be very different . I remember going to Glasto last year wanting to see Alison Goldfrapp and thinking that she'd only be playing " tales of us" but we got a full on best of set, heres hoping it'll all come true and Bjork does this at Glasto this year.
