Haven't they already announced all three headliners?

no just Chemical Brothers (and Underworld for the Thursday) so two left, although what with their 'no repeat booking' policy having only just been broken by rebooking Chemical Bros i doubt they'd do it twice in one year. the only fests that seem right for Bjork are Latitude or Glastonbury, and what with Chem Bros seeming likely for Glastonbury i doubt she'll be there also (as to not repeat 2007's Other headliners)

Apart from Latitude and/or Glastonbury, what other UK fests would she realistically be playing? Must be one or the other.

Don't think many people on here would have guessed she would be playing Wilderness festival so I would leave the options open

  • 2 weeks later...

I've absolutely convinced myself that she's going to be at Glastonbury, i've tried telling myself it might not happen and not to get my hopes up but that's just not working

i'm not going to be worth being around if she isn't on that lineup poster

I too have convinced myself of her inevitable appearance.

The only counter-thought to that is my worry that she's going to be a later 'super special guest' announcement somewhere...Latitude have a habit of a big act being announced later on, though usually they have indicated a Special Guest slot in the initial line-up...and it's often not as big as Bjork would be.

I guess the argument against Bjork for Latitude is that she'd only headline, and we know they're all in. As long as no-one thought of her in the Joanna Newsom Sunday slot, then we're OK.

Well, I'm glad I argued that out with myself. Bjork is a GF2015 shoe-in. Yay!

it does make me worry slightly that there isn't a mention of her on the rumors page :(

i would have thought if Latitude had her they would have announced on the first wave of acts, it would be such a massive deal for them

Call me crazy but i can see her headlining Pyramid Sunday night.

I think i say this every year though.

Crazy.

Other Stage, against the Poo Fighters (heh heh heh) on Friday, must be.

I think she could as well, and don't really get why people think she is out of the realm of possibility, especially this year.

I would see this as being completely out of sync with the other headliners being suggested, in terms of pure mass appeal. She is extraordinary. She is brilliant. She is anything but mainstream, mass appeal. Her new record is so wonderful, and entirely inaccessible to a significant majority of today's festival going punters. I'm not being in anyway elitist, I just can't see her in that slot.

I would eat my own feet if she were a Pyramid headliner.

She's headlining the 10k capacity Wilderness Festival in Oxfordshire. I don't think they've shared a main stage headliner with Glastonbury before. :P

But they already are this year with Ben Howard TBC. Not that it needed a TBC to know. Nothing to even say Bjork would have to have the Other header spot, could easily be West Holt's instead which is more naturally that size of act

I think he means the same act headlining the Pyramid :P Mind you I wouldn't be surprised if Ben Howard headlined given our recent struggles to guess!

Haha dude, it's a probability. The question is would you rather Glasto actually announced more like T and R&L rather than the suspense of waiting? It's agonizing waiting to hear, I always dread the clashes but I still say Coachella was the worst one I waited for. Until the last two years lineups, when it's been basically the same time both years, it is just announced, you don't even know when, at least Glasto tell you April 1st (more likely anytime after). I think it was supposed to be earlier but finally conceded defeat on The Stones haha.

This is bullshit, Bjork is equally or more popular from all the Other headliners since QOTSA.

She really isn't though.

I can't see her selling as many records as Jake bugg and hasn't he played arenas recently?

Wilderness is a funny one you have Bjork who doesn't play very big venues, played acadamies on her last UK tour(5-6 years ago). Then you have Ben Howard who's played/playing arenas on his tour.
