Why move bands unless they're actually TBC? I want the info on here to be accurate not based on forum speculation. Why do you want them changed anyway? Just moving them to TBC without any actual info to back that up doesn't make them any more likely to play

love his attempt to communicate with a foreign audience..

"d'ya want to hear some songs everybody or wha..?"

I'm not mad about them, but I like him, and the drummers good

I hate that 'dry' guitar sound they get though

I'm not too fused over them, never have been tbh. I probably wouldn't watch them unless there was nothing else on, you can lump these in with the uninspiring rest ie KoL, The Killers, Radiohead, Coldplay, etc

ps That is not a comparison of musical ability or standing just I think they're an equally easy choice.

I downloaded their last 2 albums in view of this information.

Humbug is DUNG. Really really bad, but Suck it and See I quite liked.

A mediocre headliner for me, but it could be a lot worse. Hope the rumours of leftfield being on the other stage at the same time are true, that's where I'd be, gurning for britain.

I must thank whoever posted that link to AM playing in Lollapalooza
I saw some of AM headline set at Glastonbury in 2007 and they were insipid, was it nerves maybe they had their big break too soon, whatever it was they have certainly not improved and I will definitely be else where as Russy says Leftfield are strongly rumoured for the Friday night although I have seen them about 5 times so I may not even go there. (If they play at all of course)
I was close to seeing U2 in 2011, much closer than I would ever be to seeing AM but nonetheless close then DJ Shadow was announced, hoping for something similar :)

I listened to some at the weekend, quite like the last album. But I'm generally plretty pleased because a)it's not some retro heritage act and B) they want to do it, like properly want to do it, they understand what it's all about. Yeah, like wanderlei says, a solid booking.
