Nas performing illmatic in full would be one of the highlights of the festivalfor me

nah, forget that, let's have Nas with Damian, waaaay better. :D

How much would the field shake to the bassline of 'Promised Land'? Basslines don't get any better.

(or, for those who don't know their reggae but know N&D, 'Land of Promise').

Nas and Damian would be an absolute must see

i went to see Kate Tempest last night in Nottingham, she was absolutely fantastic, i'd be willing to bet she's going to get a nice spot on the lineup poster

Roots Manuva supporting Blur, hopefully he'll turn up at Glastonbury too. I've never seen him live and Brand New Second Hand is one of the great British hip-hop albums.

Saw him on Jazz World in 09 - bloody brilliant. Saw him early 2012 (i think?!) as well on the '4everevolution' tour - bit of a different direction but some of the tracks are top draw.

  • 2 weeks later...

He's headlining a fair few mid sized fests this year. Doubt we'll see him back to be honest.

I'm off to see Abdominal and the Obliques on Friday, not heard any of his solo stuff but will always have fond memories of that DJ Format album.

I'm embarrasingly late to this this, I know but the more I listen to it, the more I think RTJ2 is fantastic. Also, Scroobius Pip's podcast, 'distraction pieces' had a really good episode with Killer MIke a while back. Really inspiring stuff.

    • Considering how popular of a booking Scooter have been I think they'd go down well
    • I mean I think unless you are camped in a particular bit which apparently you just get no sleep i feel it would be better setup to travel in from a hotel each day and back. Ah there is so many downfalls to it for me, I think the Download main stage area is so much better and that's coming from me. If you're camped in green to go round all the time and out for lidl and even water is stupid!
