As mentioned a few pages back, B&M do the smaller cans now at £1 each. So if you’re just getting them for the codes rather than to enjoy as well, you’ll get more entries for your money. (Everyone else was at least £1.50 for the bigger cans). Also not all B&Ms sell alcohol, their website tells you which ones do.1 point

Brilliant quote from Andy Burnham's speech... "We all need to reconnect power with the promotion of the common good rather than what we have seen in recent times: the association of power with corruption and lies.” This guy really knows his city, and it's musical heritage.1 point

Nyra announced some tour dates on his IG and he's playing 5 sets at Glastonbury. Been a big fan of his productions for a while now so would definitely recommend for anyone who's into high energy, uplifting House/Trance with an old school flavour.1 point

Think that's definitely old, just checked the crew camping maps from 22 and it was down by orchard but actually outside the fence.1 point

mostly I'm pointing out that other peoples claims for the greens in Bristol don't stand They’re now the biggest party in Bristol city council. Also you’re the only one who really mentions them A ludicrous argument, even by your standards1 point

So that’s it decided, up on the Woodsies platform, midnight, and we’re all invited for champagne 😉1 point

I had a survey about it and I was quite negative about the brand, but not sure how I could be positive about an industry that destroys so many lifes.1 point

And take away any protection for the buyer. How much time, effort and money do you think it takes to create an online ticket selling platform, keep it running and build it up to being one of, or the most, trusted ticket selling website?1 point

I would only take it in a way to see which artist gors on ehich stage, and maybe main stage is oretty much fix. Other than that mainly guess work. For example, Four Tet is already wrong. In the press co they said that he will follow Fred immediately, but in the clash finder he is one slot later. So yeah it’s just guessing and half random.1 point

I'm convinced that their negative take is what makes the weather so great the past few years. It's a good luck charm. keep 'em coming @The Nal!1 point

And make sure you take a mug on shift. Tea/coffee runs aren't 100% guaranteed but there's nothing worse than them turning up and that one poor sod who didn't bring a mug having to watch everyone else have a lovely cuppa. Especially at 3 in the morning. Don't be that one poor sod.1 point

Some of em can be a bit of a pain to find, but you can always ask any nearby member of staff where the staff bar is - and while typically they'll tend to let in any worker it can be a bit limited at times to 'this area's workers only' if its particularly busy (and the theatre bar are very snotty, they wont let in anyone without a t+c pass) but generally its just a matter of strolling right in. I like the Arcadia bar (tow and hitch) cos they have sofas and pizza, and the broken britain in unfairground is decent too - i think maceos is the most popular but its all a bit DJ's/dance music for me1 point

Little questions are fab, crack on! it gives us a chance to think about and glastobate a bit more, and thats always a good thing! There's a couple of urns in the oxfield, hot water is always available - you really dont need to bring a little stove. There's room for everyone to camp, you might be a bit nearer the gate or a pylon or the loos than youd ideally like to be, but everyone will get in. In terms of snacks: well. I tend to get loads of nuts, cos i like em. Stroopwaffels are great with a tea (and as above, you can always have a tea, there's hot water) and cereal bars are quite hardy. I also quite like a pot noodle, but i get a tin of mackerel fillets in tomato sauce and smush them in and around - makes it almost approaching edible. I take loads of fruit as well, and the caterers in the Oxfield arent bad, you'll get three food tokens but they also sell food, and last year had late night pizzas and coffee etc for sale. one bit of advice - bring a plastic/melamine plate and a knife and fork, it saves time/money/facilities1 point

Music always takes precedence over football for me. I've even missed watching my own team in Champions League finals while I've seen at a festival. The thought of giving up 2 or more hours of Glastonbury for an Enland last 16 game is completely alien to me.1 point

I really like that album actually. Nothing ground breaking but decent upbeat music with a few good singles to add to a strong setlist already1 point
-
Enjoying the album, think the singles have been really strong already, whether they have been big or not. I think given its 11 tracks, 36 mins long, there have already been 3 singles, probably be another 2 at least (end of an era, falling forever), it will be a stacked set. I get that it is a bit different to future nostalgia but it is a good pop album. I'm hoping something off the album catches, there has been a lot more press over the last few days. Question will be whether it's strong enough to know tortured poet's off the top.1 point

Summer 2022 I proposed to my good lady in New York City. Bought the ring before we went on holiday. Didn't want to go over cliched at Empire State Building, and knew a decent spot in Central Park as I've been twice before, unfortunately she hadn't and she wanted to see the Plaza hotel which was at the opposite end to where I wanted to propose. So having looked at the Plaza we got walking, stopped for a coffee, then got within 10 mins of roughly where I wanted to do it and she started saying she was tired (and it was very hot), and could we dip out of the park and to our next sightseeing point (some museum she wanted to go to), so had to go to Plan B... as she went to some toilets next to a tennis court I said I would wait by a tree and put a blanket out ,as she walked back I was stood up and then got down on one knee etc etc...luckily she said yes! 😄 So moral of the story is, you can plan all these things out then end up proposing on a patch of grass next to some public toilets 😄1 point

you should definitely check Glass Beams (psych/funk), English Teacher (british post-punk with female voice), Slift (heavy psych rock). There's a few other guitar bands but I like them less than these 3 ones1 point

Woodsies and Other both weak as piss. Im a little cold on the Park also tbh. Peggy Gou? Really? Whole hill there to mooch their way through the nanana tune? Fontaines are the pits and booking Orbital 30 years after their debut to go on 2nd last before two-tunes-and-the-truth dirge like London Grammer is berzerk. Rest of the stage's billing is vanilla af.1 point
