I’m a mixture of nervous anticipation and excitement. When that first can is cracked open I can relax as I’m home , stresses of life just f**k off for at least 5 days

I’m similar. It’s exciting to prepare, pack, travel there and queue, but when tents are set up and valuables are in the lock-up, the first can of Scrumpy Jack is a real exhale moment.

I'm a bit annoyed at myself.....I went out with some old friends on Saturday then tucked into some *ahem* *supplies* I had for next weekend......could barely get out of bed yesterday and not only did I not do a load of prep for the festival I mentally put myself in bit of a bad place.

Feel a bit better today and I'm hoping the anticipation/excitement returns tomorrow ahead of my early Weds AM departure.

Nervous this year, go the little one (6) staying for a day of the music for the first time. Really hoping he copes with it ok!

We are taking our 9 year old for the whole weekend for the first time. Excitement is laced with nerves as well on how he manages things.

That's the risk you have taken

Quality Assurance for research purposes.

We've all been there

Excitement is starting to build now although I feel like I’ve left everything until last minute. Last shift in work tonight too so once that’s out the way I think it will really start to build. Missed last years festival and I’ve got a funny feeling this might be the best one yet.

I have absolutely no idea how people expect me to focus on work for the next 48 hours! I am the level of excitement where you make random squeals every now and again.

I should have been working on Wednesday, but spoke with my manager and got the day off, so only got to get through this afternoon and tomorrow and then I can just focus on being excited 🤪

Its my non working day today and I’m in the final stages of epic amounts of organising for leaving the kids with grandparents, sorting the allotment out for the week.. buying a few last things before I pack, once I have all that sorted I will feel better.

In the office tomorrow so will be trying to focus while also being insanely giddy.  Hoping I can get to sleep ok Tuesday night, I barely slept last year because I knew I had to get up at 5.30 to get ready for the 7am coach.

I have a nightmare few days of work ahead of me. The culmination of several months has come down to this week after delays with an external company. The timing is awful but on the plus side time is flying past!

I can’t depart until Thursday morning so Wednesday in particular will be tough… I cannot wait to set my out of office!

This, it's when your tent is up and car keys in the lock up and as a bus driver believe me that no sign of a four wheeled vehicle for 5 days is bliss! This is my 8th ( ?) Visit and this time there are only two of us. At the age of 63 the ' excitement' becomes less, but I'm ready and really looking forward to it. I prey the weather gods will help us out because it's so much more enjoyable when the weather is good. I've had great fun and experiences on the farm in bad weather but with a bigger crew in the past.

It will all be OK, still plenty of time to grab a ticket and shove things in bags.  You needed to "test the waters"

Been quite a few more times, but also an oldie and whilst I know lots of folks there I probably will spend most time with a small group and much calmer than in my face down drunken years.

I've still got too much to get ready and to finish work before I can concentrate on being excited.

Have a great time all 🍾🍷🥂🍔🎶🎵

Was giddy Sat but now on site and set up feel surprisingly calm. Think as an early start and then the huff and puff of setting up etc. Everyone v.welcoming and friendly on the volunteering front.

I am off the scale giddy! Finished work now, we set off in the morning & join the midnight queue around 8pm. It’s the most magical wonderful place on earth & I can’t wait to be amongst like mindeds for a glorious week in paradise ❤️

Yep the wife told me the same.....I hadn't touched anything for months (trying to behave these days) and like a kid in a sweet shop I just couldn't leave it alone after a few drinks could i!

I've been drinking more regularly in the run up (only in modest quantities), but in my case it's not like my tolerance increased - just don't beat yourself up.

Did enough of that yesterday.   At least I didn't go in hard at the festival having not touched anything for months on end got that part out of the way on Saturday.

I've had to cut my drinking down due to gout flaring up again...!

Sure i'll be fine when I'm driving down the A303 on Weds AM 😎
