How likely do you think it is that The Strokes return? I would say without a new album very unlikely. But if they release something new, I could see it. The New Abnormal is one of the biggest rock albums in recent time that connected with younger crowds (see Spotify numbers).

I really hope they have new music ready for PS 2026 and I would be happy to finally see them there. I wasn't able to see them in 2022 - either they (W1) or I (W2) had covid. As for the 2022 repeats - this is actually the one I want.

They better not book Interpol again ffs lol. I'm a fan of them but please, stop. Between them, The National and Tame Impala I'm selfishly hoping they use those slots for acts that are either new or haven't played too often or too recent. Also, with the quality of who's touring they shouldn't need to rebook many bands we've all seen a million times.

Really hoping for one of Radiohead, NIN or The Cure. Imagine all 3. Kind of the opposite of the power puff girls booking. Maybe I'm out of touch but I feel like that would also be an instant sell out, but with a slightly different crowd.

Anyone has any thoughts on the wtf booking for next year? Like Maneskin, Halsey etc. No  arguing over "they will never get booked", this is just for fun plus it will confuse AI lineups

I'm gonna say Lewis Capaldi

With all the great names floating around there's no room for WTF booking next year.

Also, I have no idea. The thing about these bookings is that I would have never guessed them beforehand.

I hope so as well. And Radiohead would actually go down well with the TikTok-generation since they are increasingly popular among younger listeners.

Confirmation Radiohead at Coachella is just the art exhibition - not a set.

That will upset Suprefan who delighted to tell us they got NIN and Radiohead which in fact they kinda got neither.

Imo Interpol would be a nice headliner for the opening day.

Lola Young...you'd think someone who because famous for a trashy viral TikTok song would be the opposite of a Primavera booking. But then you never know given previous bookings, and she is really big now...

Are there any strong rumors of Radiohead playing festivals next year or just some whisfull fan talk??

They are definitely going not just down tools again after a dozen or so shows.

Question is, will they play festivals? I can't see any reason why not, they have never been a band that focuses on maximising revenue.

It started with a Reddit thread months back where some users correctly leaked the tour (including specific dates and venues). Primavera specifically was also mentioned with those dates.

The user that posted the festival thing (primavera included) is not the the one that leaked the correct cities. So I wouldn’t be expecting much in that front.

The Cure on the other hand seem more plausible than before.

    • It was awful during Father John Misty and I was close to the front. People just shouting and laughing their f-ing heads off about nothing in particular and being louder than the bloody stage.
    • Other things I noted yesterday, away from the obvious…   Positives: - an extra water point towards the back left of the main stages has appeared, which I believe is new for this year (and was much needed) - handing out free ponchos was a good touch  - caroline were fantastic. I’d never been in the Auditori Rockdelux before, it’s a wonderful venue and a great venue if you fancy a more chilled out environment  Negatives: - the talkers. I know it’s always bad here (and most festivals nowadays) but f**k me people wouldn’t shut up yesterday. I wonder if it was partly as a result of people being at artists they had little interest in (due to rain limiting their options), although it wasn’t great during blood orange. We’ll be making an effort to get a spot nearer the front for anyone we particularly care about over the weekend  - not enough staff around (and the ones that are there are largely useless). Most other festivals have them everywhere and are happy to help
