I see System of a Down with support from Queens of the Stone Age announced a European tour next year , No Spanish dates

But the tour doesn't start till the end of June.

Not normally the type of band they usually book . But who knows now after Calvin Harris and Ghost

Maybe QOTSA

2025 was an atypical year for headliners (the three Powerpuff Girls were prominently featured on the bill), but generally in other years we've never had fewer than six headliners, so I'd go with six names rather than three.

So far, my two cents go to Lorde, Tame Impala, Nick Cave, Tyler the Creator, Gorillaz and Radiohead.

I think they’ll lean into pop again since it was so successful this year - could see Doja Cat, Lorde and Doechii (not so much pop). Although I think Lorde’s new album flopped a bit.

Actually, one woman out of six headliners would be too few considering the latest lineups, I think Doechii will be among the headliners (maybe instead of Cave or Gorillaz?).

Ticket sale for Radiohead was insane. All venues sold out instantly.

In terms of demand, this isn't the same band that was announced back in 2016. I feel like they're more popular than ever and could maybe be too big for this nowadays? Tickets would be gone within moments.

even in 2016 they'd have sold out 4 nights at the O2 and I doubt they're bigger than Sabrina Carpenter and Chappell (or at least they're a similar size)

Yeah, they sould out 20 venues within half an hour. And it was only among the people who had managed to get a ticket code. Many people who wanted to buy a ticket didn´t even reach that stage. So any festival who grabs Radiohead next summer will have a pretty big pull.

Let's not forget, also, that in 2016 Primavera sold out the fastest it ever has (a matter of a few days) after they were announced as headliners

Yeah. I still think they're in reach for primavera.

This is not them selling 4 nights at the O2. This is them selling out 450.000 tickets within minutes after millions have registered to even try to get a ticket.

The registration part doesn't even matter, they gave more codes than capacity so it was always going to sell out. I don't know why people are shocked they've sold these dates out so quickly. They've been away 7 years. Still, take a look at Sabrina Carpenter, she sold out 2 x Hyde Park last year - that's 130k minimum (could be more) alone just in the UK. By that metric Radiohead are still perfectly bookable.

From what i heard , as of right now,  Radiohead do not intend to do festivals in 2026.

Things can change though

Was this recent? Interesting if you've heard this as some people had heard otherwise

    • It was awful during Father John Misty and I was close to the front. People just shouting and laughing their f-ing heads off about nothing in particular and being louder than the bloody stage.
    • Other things I noted yesterday, away from the obvious…   Positives: - an extra water point towards the back left of the main stages has appeared, which I believe is new for this year (and was much needed) - handing out free ponchos was a good touch  - caroline were fantastic. I’d never been in the Auditori Rockdelux before, it’s a wonderful venue and a great venue if you fancy a more chilled out environment  Negatives: - the talkers. I know it’s always bad here (and most festivals nowadays) but f**k me people wouldn’t shut up yesterday. I wonder if it was partly as a result of people being at artists they had little interest in (due to rain limiting their options), although it wasn’t great during blood orange. We’ll be making an effort to get a spot nearer the front for anyone we particularly care about over the weekend  - not enough staff around (and the ones that are there are largely useless). Most other festivals have them everywhere and are happy to help
