  1. Oh I would love Billy Woods to be on after Justice. Such a ridiculously stacked day
  2. Same, though I reckon VW would suit the sunset slot so well
  3. Friday acts I'm excited for who won't be in mordor: Barry Can't Swim Obongjayar Badbadnotgood Jai paul Chelsea Wolfe Clipse Mount Kimbie Maybe Tirzah I'd see Lost Dinner Party too, reckon their afternoon Mordor material though
  4. I feel similarly. I love some of her songs, but I watched her Glasto set on the telly last year and was really disappointed, and the few clips I've seen from coachella felt flat. Mordor will be rammed as well, so I'll go with the counterprogramming. Wonder who will be on Amazon when she's on?
  5. There's a Mexican I love called El Pachucho, really close to Sala Apolo, great margaritas, I went twice last year - it's cash only though so come prepared.
  6. https://pitchfork.com/news/fka-twigs-to-perform-one-off-dance-piece-at-martha-graham-dance-company-gala/ Intrigued to see what Twigs does at this ...
  7. Curiosity question- how come everyone's so sure Twigs is pulling out? They're still using her face on the adverts... I wanna be naively optimistic I think!
  8. Strange they've taken this one down, I think it's easier to read in the Ciutat poster...
  9. I don't know PJ Harvey well and I don't know where to start with her music - from what I've heard I see what you mean about she might not suit main stage, though Glasto have her on mainstage so I guess her festival set will be more of a mix?
  10. Sevdaliza's set was a highlight for me last year as well
  11. I feel this, keen for Pulp, Justice, Vampire Weekend, Billy Woods, Beth Gibbons, Julie Byrne, Deftones, Sofia Kourtesis, Arab Strap, Mannequin Pussy, Yeule... gonna be tough. That said, no day is thin on the ground for me, just Thursdays particularly packed
  12. Ah I agree Thursday is mega clash Central, but there's some names on the Friday I'm really excited for: Obongjayar, Barry Can't Swim, The Last Dinner Party, Jai Paul, Chelsea Wolfe, Xexa
  13. I haven't heard most of these Ciutat names, done some digging and The Messthetics & James Brandon Lewis are some of the guys from Fugazi with a jazz saxophonist... and really sound like Fugazi does free jazz. Very cool. Love the Armand Hammer addition too. And if The National are doing Ciutat (very convincing that they are) I'm sure this will be a very special gig, and free up the Friday to see new things!
  14. Just booked our flights to Barcelona, forgot what the prices are like! 😬
