Do we know if that's Georgia of synthy indie pop fame on the poster? Would seem like an odd place for her but I don't know any other artists going by that name.

Yeah that's what I was wondering as she's Neil Barnes' daughter.  Would like to see her doing her stuff, prob less fussed by a DJ set

It's so easy these days to do a poster using sites like Canva etc it's rather pathetic that posters this year (this and Kidz field) are so crap. 

 

No idea how this happens. There are countless good graphic designers out there who would love to do a Glastonbury poster. Really wouldn’t cost much either.

Could very well be as she’s touring atm but it does feel like an odd placement (unless it’s just a way to bag a ticket!).

With laidlaw on the line up i know he has close relations to the dutch label.

apparently the only artist that cares to give quality for pence is Stanley Donwood. 
 

 

at least The Park poster will be legible.

It's baffling that this and the Kidz field would not get noticed by anyone and sent back. Anyone from head of artistic design/ head of whole area/ to the website team/ senior management/ Eavis'. Did no one notice? Why did the various people who update the website not ask for a high res version?

 

Why not get a local A-level student to do it? 

 

So much talent out there that just need a break in hard times and they get some mate of Bex to do it. 

 

TBH this whole area needs a massive kick up the arse.

I actually don't mind the naff poster design. There's enough trendy festivals out there with immaculate sleek designed posters, I like Glasto because it still feels so home-grown (in a lot of areas) despite its size. On that front it makes me happy they still have posters like this floating about for some areas. I appreciate why others might not feel that way though.

Hahaha I was there for that set but completely forgot about it until you mentioned it! We'd gone on a side quest and somehow ended up in Bimble watching one half of Orbital 😅

There's a chap called Uncle Dugs on the line up, he played a laod of sets last year and vlogged the whole thing.

I watched it the other day, it's a decent vlog.

We ended up there as it was the only dance set on site that appealed at that particular time! It was...fine! But not Phil's finest 😆.
