Cause Radiohead and Nine Inch Nails are playing the same festival? Alright, ill go cry.

Are Radiohead actually playing? When I searched it up it looks like an exhibit type thing l.

If Depeche are following the same cycle as before COVID then 2027 an album will be out and tour.

Basically Jonathan their manager tells them it's time to get back together and do something.

Martin writes the songs and it's a quick turnaround. In early/mid 2022 they got the ball rolling with recording but I think they had booked shows before that. Then October 2022, a tour announcement/album announcement. So late 2026 there will be a tour/album announcement if they follow the same cycle as before COVID.

But Dave is not that keen anymore. He was fed up after 2017/2018.

It's been said there was a bit of a negative atmosphere behind the scenes during the recording and touring of Spirit but that the shock of losing Fletch made Memento Mori a new experience where they seemed to be more on the same page.

We'll see what happens if we hear anything soon enough. I'm not necessarily expecting anything so soon but they do have a concert movie next month so maybe there'll be promo interviews for that where we could get indications as to what they're thinking. But I didn't hear anything suggesting the last campaign would be a definitive finale to the project.

    • There is possibly a weak link in the ticket buying system, no matter how clever the technical controls get. I just spent 20 minutes this morning hammering the ‘Buy Tickets’ button while the web page kept telling me there weren’t enough tickets remaining to meet my request. Eventually it changed its mind and let me buy two tickets. Most likely because of failed payments in the queue ahead of me. So - just like it did in the good old F5 days - pig-headed blind persistence can sometimes pay off.   BTW, the tickets were for the Whispering Bob Harris evening in the Albert Hall on 2nd December.
    • All I'm asking for is Rancid
    • MGK would probably end my interest in this festival completely.
    • The basement, deafheaven, Mannequin pussy clash is v annoying. Also not sure why pinkpantheress is in the tent, surely going to be ramos.
    • It's just this:   Search up which orgs are currently in Tufton St, funded by Koch Brothers, Robert Mercer, and Matthew Elliot.   It's moved on from "Vote Leave" and "Leave Means Leave" into the lobbyists against net zero. It's the same funding from the same people in the same place lobbying our media and politicians.
