Are we in a less certain position with the headliners (at least 2) at this time of year than for many a year? I reckon we might be.

I think the 2 rumoured are pretty certain tbh .... will love it if things change but cant see it , love to eat my words though . Does seem to have come from several people

wouldn't say so, The 1975 and O Rod have been pretty locked in for while and the poster will be next month so not much time for things to change.

Nope. We're pretty certain, despite a small number of people who are trying to manifest it to be something else. But even those people know the reality deep down.

let's not have a repeat of young-gate shall we. Your wee face when he said he wasn't playing must have been a picture. Then the 180 a day later. Still waiting on that apology....

You'll be waiting a long time.

All I've ever said is I take rumours at face value and nothing is certain until it's announced by the festival or the artist.  True then, true now.

Why you expect an apology is a mystery to me - it's not even your info, you just run around telling people they must believe it for some reason.

Those records can be scratched, of course, but the signs appear to lean that way.

Meanwhile, if those leaked dates for Neil Young are write, we're seeing him on the Saturday as speculated.

Missed the leaked Neil dates, what were they?

Can't believe how little traction this is getting in this thread, considering that this thread usually holds on to any tiny shred of hope for something. I'm just gonna say, what I've heard puts Rihanna in the frame just a much as Olivia Rodrigo and more so than The 1975. The only difference is the argument of "Would they actually do the festival?"

Well ASAP Rocky just got a not guilty verdict so she is free to do as she pleases. Its not happening unless its happening. I would think if they somehow pulled that off that they wont even annlunce those gigs til after Glasto dropped. They want zero hints cause bettors will switch odds

I was only joking. You were very smug when you thought he wasn’t playing though.

Yep I agree nothing is official till it’s official but people in the thread are asking about The 1975 and understandably so- there’s nothing really pointing to them playing so people are confused, I’m just tellling them why people are so sure

    • Yesterday was was Primavera is all about and a reminder of why I come back every year. I saw 9 acts, very diverse in terms of genre and vibe, and most of them were great.  Highlights:   The Cure - have wanted to see them for years. Finally caught them and it was immaculate. Robert Smith's vocals at his age are incredible. The band sounded exactly like the albums which is impressive. 2.5 hours with basically no filler somehow.  Viagra Boys - what a front man! So much energy. Non stop moshing. Sound was great, vibe was top notch. Again 10/10 for me.  Rilo Kiley - basically what pipan said. Not a huge crowd but nice vibe, good sound. Different from the other acts I saw.   I also enjoyed the late night electronic stuff with Aurora Halal and KI/KI being fun. Caught some of Skrillex before Aurora Halal and it was cool in it's own way but not really my thing so we left.
    • Dream Blink day    Blink - Turnstile - Neck Deep - The Story So Far
    • The vibe for Avalanches was spectacular, but i totally understand not wanting to wait in a queue for however long it was.   I had to miss Ethel Cain to queue. Bit annoying, but I had never seen the Avalanches before (either live or DJ set) and it was every bit as joyful as I hoped.   Great little stage, either way.
    • The Smashing Pumpkins are also a shout
