The Sun is frequently wrong on the details but sometimes gets names right.

They said Madonna for last year I think? But had the other 2 correct.

No it doesn’t let’s clear this up …. It chucks a shed load of names at it and hopes mud sticks … the journalism on there is f**king awful and f**k the scum . Glad people have had the sense not to link that comic

What did I say that was wrong? I said they're often wrong but do throw out correct headliners too.

Not that is hard to work out that 1975, Neil Young and O Rod are playing.

Not every post about The Sun needs to be prefaced by a disclaimer saying 'I hate The Sun'. I've not even read the full article lol.

They throw out the correct headliners because they throw out so many headliners … there is no basis in any accuracy of anything that comes from the sun just because they get a couple of things right occasionally… and f**k the scum

My first thought when I read this.Though if someone is leaking info to that rag then they need their arse kicked.

Yeah The Sun seen to saying same as in here, except the Stevie Wonder bit which was more about 50 pages ago. They aren't just making it up

No they’re not just making it up but instead of journalism/having their own sources they just trawl sites like this throw them together tweak to make it more controversial/throw in popular names to get clicks.
I bet quite a few on here have gone to look at the article.
Remember every click on their site gives the oxygen theives more money

Morning sun hack

What's your issue?

They've probs pinched it from the discord which is where the news of Charli, O Rod, Chappell broke- not on here.

It's also not beyond the realms of possibility that a national newspaper would hear some correct info for the country's biggest festival

So weird that they're claiming Rodrigo won't top. Quietly astonished, given how sure we've been she's the biggest lock of the lot, that they'd even go that route.

But I still feel unsure on Wonder and Young. The former, as we say, has to have BST in the back pocket too, and the latter mentioning rebooking a tour because of "health reasons" reads to me that he is a risk of a booking in that sense.

That's how journalism works?

Also,we don't know where these names come from...same places as they originate in here, various people in the industry.

Anyone know what the current rumours are for BST? Or is everyone clutching at straws for that at the moment?

Could have taken it from absolutely anywhere here or oof being a couple of places you don’t need to be quite so certain when you don’t actually know . Scum has been trawling this site and sites like it for years s…

Is it possible to have any discussion about the Sun which doesn't descend into repeated comments about how evil they are? Everyone understands that it's a rag of a paper.

Oh hey Piers! Only joking. I think people are still seething at the stuff they have pulled over the years

His issue is The Sun newspaper and he’s correct. This “newspaper” has spent decades lying and sh*t stirring. Their front page spread in April 1989 slandering 1000’s of football fans was a large part of the reason it took them around 30 years to get some form of justice over the Hillsborough disaster.

If I had my way any mention of that rag would be banned on this forum

    • The wording on EOTR's IG Story is "Huw has a little secret to share"...
    • exactly. give them mordor slot when I have other alternatives, not Wednesday
    • Absolutely love her record, System. Definitely an album that rewards a bit of commitment.   She's right on my must-see list. Hoping she's in the Walled Garden, as I think her sound might be a bit muddy if she's early-ish in Far Out.   Ben
    • Same here, I kept trying to go on A View From My Seat to see if each block was worth it. So vague!
    • Ok, I’ve had time to process the experience now, so here is my review.   The good Barcelona - what a beautiful place! What lovely people! The city was like another headliner. Stayed in El Poblenou, and the bars, cafes and restaurants were perfect. Avalanches - Absolutely spectacular, euphoric set. Fantastic stage. Possibly enhanced by substances that I timed right, for a change. Added bonus that I don’t really remember the queue. The Cure - I’ve been a fan for 34 years, and never got round to seeing them, so this was a dream come true. The XX - The sound was exceptional. The lights and setlist perfect, giving each member their moment. Was really loud where I was standing (between the front and the sound desk), but i didn’t notice any chatters - even during the quieter moments. Also loved Men I Trust, .bd. , Big Thief, NewDad and Gorillaz. The food within Parc Del Fòrum was also a lot better than I was expecting.   The bad People talking non-stop throughout some of the sets, and shouting to be heard over the music. I had to move 3 times during Wet Leg just to be able to hear the band over the crowd. It’s probably an age thing, but I just don’t understand it. You’ve paid how much to watch these acts, and now you’re standing with your back to the stage, missing the music and ruining the experience for everyone else? Odd behaviour.   The weather apocalypse on Thursday. I genuinely thought I would be able to tough it out. I couldn’t. Left after Geese. The lack of communication from Primavera didn’t help.   Whilst it was lovely to be by the sea, and the sunsets were very pretty, the site is a bit…concrete-y, isn’t it? I kind of longed for some grass and trees. Often found ourselves standing on the steps by the Adidas yard by some bamboo. This was probably a subconscious need for some nature. The fact that some of the nature included cockroaches did not negatively affect the experience.   My daughter, for running away when she saw the drug dogs in the queue on Thursday, meaning that I lost her for the whole evening. She hid her stash under a bench, and it miraculously survived the storms.   Also, can someone explain the point in having a wristband, when you still have to show your ticket every time you enter and leave the site?   Finally, I would like to nominate myself as one of the bad things about this year’s Primabera. I should have done Primavera a lot better. It was my first one, so I’m still learning, but I think I left too early on the Thursday. Left after the Cure on Friday, so I would be full of energy on Saturday, and then barely made it to the end of Gorillaz anyway, meaning I missed Overmono, Skrillex, Skullcrusher, Kneecap, and a few more I would have liked to see.   All in all Amazing lineup. Decent food options. Cupra and Cupra Pulse stages were very impressive. Weather was perfect for 3 out of the 4 days i attended.   It was always likely to be a ‘one and done’ for me, but we had a blast, even if I am starting to get too old for all this.
