So how exactly does this work for those of us who are already on the farm but just want to help out?

We could do with someone to help out with the spreadsheet on resale day and then people helping out to secure tickets for people in group 4.

Happy to help buy tickets, at this point I'm not even sure how the spreadsheets work, so better leave that to somebody with more experience, but I said I was up for helping when we got our tickets, and I meant it. 🙂 (P.s replied to your PM.)

Hopefully we’ll get the resale date announcement today! 🤞🏻

Surely it can't be far off. I'm going with Thursday 20th / Sun 23rd, although selfishly - the weekend after would be even better for me

Does anyone know if campervan resale happens at the same time as general ticket resales?

We need to get one more quiet campervan spot for our group so we're all together

No , not at the same time, a bit later. There will also be a resale of any cancelled WV and Sticklinch accommodation for anyone looking for that.

This was super fast last year - got lucky in the resale at 9 and then accommodation went on sale at 11 or 12ish. Had no idea what sticklinch was or in fact what was on offer as that info had been taken down. Ended up booking worthy view and sticklinch in the euphoria

So today marks the latest they've ever left the resale announcement. And counting.

This is all my work below nothing at all to do with @Gnomicide

Interesting. Could it be the latest resale to date, given the first sale fell into November?..

Seems mad considering the festival is in 71 days and people have to pony up 340 quid, book time off work etc etc.

It does. 2015 and 2016 were 8 & 6 days notice, respectively, before the coach resale - so they could drop the announcement at any point this week for next Thursday (20th). Wouldn't be the biggest shock if it went to the last weekend of the month at this point though

I would imagine that the vast majority of tickets they sell in the resale will be to people who've been anticipating and planning for the day ever since they failed to get tickets in November. They'll have the money, they'll know the score with annual leave, transport, etc. They may not know the exact day it's going to happen, but they're fully prepared for what's coming.

Can't imagine there'll be too many people caught out.

In normal years sure but with the cost of living stuff and the huge increase in price its still surprising.

Also with the risk of waiting until after the resale to book other holiday, not getting a ticket and then paying more for a holiday you could've booked months ago, I'd be surprised if people haven't decided nah and have already booked the titty bar in Spain or wherever.

They'll still all sell out in seconds though.

Which is why the three other people who were due to go into the resales with me have now dropped out!

    • Judging by last night at Wembley, Luke Combs should be in the conversation of headliner. The UK is having a moment with country music so I don't think it would be particularly left field either.
    • Just listed on Twickets
    • It feels really busy this year, loads of big groups of youngsters too. Slightly different vibe to previous years I've been. As with Tramlines, they're very chatty during sets and there's a constant stream of them in and out of the crowd... definitely feeling my age 😂   The Quarry stage I think is a lot smaller than previous years - seems similar size to Squid/Leadmill. Some sets have been difficult to get in.   I think I've reached my limit with mid-tier indie guitar bands. There's been quite a few this weekend where I've gone over to see them then walked away after 20 mins. Surprisingly, enjoyed the Fratellis set the most in this genre. Probably getting on for 20 years since I last saw them. Wasn't expecting them to do Yes Sir, I Can Boogie, which was fab!   Hugely enjoyed the Happy Mondays yesterday, and same but different with Radio Free Alice who I saw again on Friday, following Tramlines last weekend. A big run of pop acts today - Scissor Sisters will be fantastic!
    • I have a spare campervan pass to get rid of.  unable to use Kaboodle as it is only entry that they re-sell
