Is the info that Coldplay are doing the Sunday certain?

Nothing is certain! Until it’s on a poster!

Think we had some info the other week of them subbing the Other one night

Yeah my friend's brother is playing in the live band. He says they're subbing Other on the Saturday 🙂. I think that could be great.

I was referring to Taylor of course as one of the people. It just beggars belief that she schedules 3 gigs in Dublin over the weekened. I simply do not understand why when she had previously agreed to headline the cancelled festival.

The other one I was thinking about was P!nk. Although I do appreciate that her stage show would not translate onto the Pyramid very well.

As for Springsteen, yep he has done it before, Coldplay have done it loads of times, Stevie Wonder has done it before, I don't get this legendary artist argument. We need fresh and new, something we haven't seen before.

I don't have a problem with Dua Lipa, I totally get she is fresh and relevant, and if she brought Margot Robbie onto stage for Dance the Night, that would be even better!

Imagine the scenes if Taylor pushes the Saturday or Sunday Dublin date into the following week and turns up at the farm. After the Who we thought we wouldn’t be fooled again.

She’d need to be playing in Paris to follow the Who/Reg trend.

Tbf it would've been easier to just not double book herself in Dublin over Glasto weekend. I think she'll be too busy generating noise complaints from everyone who lives near the Aviva Stadium.

... probably. I'm told U2 did 3 nights at Croke Park across town many years ago under conditions of a noise limit, then broke it on all 3 nights.

Hi guys 🙂 checking in for the first time in a while, who’s the big 4 looking like now?

If you ask me, its Slayer, Metallica, Megadeth and Exodus (who ive always far preferred to Anthrax)

Niche and wrong at the same time 🙂. I'd oust Slayer.

That's ridiculous 😄 Slayer are the best. i don't want to be one of those boneheaded blokes that just stands there and yells SSSSLLLLLAAAAYYYEEERRRRRRR at the top of my lungs but i will be, if it'll help

I did buy Reign In Blood when it came out but couldn't get on with it. The good news is that means I have a mint condition version which comes in (aptly) as my 13th most valuable album.

Oh god, i love Reign In Blood. its magnificent. 28 mins of fast punches to the middle of your chops. You might get on better with Seasons in the abyss or South of heaven, the other two of their perfect three album run from 86-90 - they're slower (i think 99.999% of albums ever released would be slower than RiB, though) and maybe more accessible. An original mint vinyl of it would be a beautiful thing indeed, give it a gloved stroke from me!

Glad to hear you didnt call me out for Anthrax slander 😄 i like em, i just think Exodus are far better and have been for decades. Rudely unappreciated, but not in my household 👍 this is spectacularly offtopic, but i wont apologise - we have nowt else to talk about.

IF it's Stevie for BST then those tickets will fly out anyway so they may not be bothered if Glasto announces first I guess.

BST would prefer to announce first, cos otherwise anyone with a glasto ticket isn't a BST ticket buyer.

With all their big gigs in England about to go on sale, perhaps they are just posting up their Glastonbury headline slot as a way of saying "Remember what a big deal we are lads, get and buy our tour tickets".

And their best evidence was a gig from 16 years ago?
