Do people often do BST AND stadiums? And has anyone ever done BST, stadiums AND Glastonbury?

Eagles, Elton and Stones all did BST/stadiums, and Pink's doing it next year so it's definitely seen as a summer "circuit" now. Nobody's ticked off all three to my knowledge though.

Where does it say she’s doing BST?

She was down for BST and Glastonbury in 2020. I had tickets for the former. Hopefully, she'll repeat those bookings. Maybe BST is the only London date?

Hmm I think we might be looking at BST as "only UK festival show" and then stadiums alongside. The presale code thing suggested to me a run of stadium shows.

I don’t think she’s doing BST reading that press email. I think there’s been… a mistake

I think Neil just posted that email separately to the BST rumour. Don't think he's saying that's proof.

Are all of the BST days not filled now by the rumoured names anyway, assuming they’re correct of course? We’re at six with Pink x2, Springsteen x2, Billy Joel and Blackpink. Take That, Adele and Elton John will full up the full nine days they have.

Yeah shes not doing BST. She’s doing stadiums.

Just had a thought - what if she follows this up in 6 months with “Middays” and it’s an upbeat banger record? Just a thought.

Had the 3am tracks on in the car this morning and they’re all pleasant enough but none really stood out too much. I’ll have another blast later but it didn’t feel like there was a New Romantics or The Lakes buried in there.

I just feel like she's never been up for midday in her life.

It's The King of Limbs II/Lunar Power all over again!

Got the album on now, it's not bad.

It's not going to convert me into a Swifty, but it's decent enough.

Echoes my thoughts on it; decent listen but not one I'll rush back to.

Listened to the album on my walk to work (45 minute walk, 44 minute album - NICE) and I loved it. It feels sort of the same as how I felt when reputation came out, it has a very specific sound running through the album which might make it feel quite samey but you'll get rewarded on repeat listen.

I hope anyway! I think that 'Snow on the Beach' will be a skip for me once i know the album by heart. My personal fave on first listen was '...Question?'

For The National/Aaron Dessner fans, seems he co-wrote/produced The Great War, High Infidelity & Would've, Could've, Should've on the 3am edition.

Can hear his influence on literally the first note of this. Lovely stuff

Trying to listen to it with it on the background while working but not really taking it in. So far no track has caught my attention and made me stop what I'm doing.

I'll go a walk with it at lunchtime and listen properly.  I prefer Folkmore/Evermore to Taylor's other stuff so I imagine once I get into the lyrics of the songs I'll enjoy it more. I like that there's no pop banger cause for me, the ones on Lover were the weakest part.

    • Deftones, Blink, Muse?   Deftones as the next bump up makes all the sense, Blink as the "band that has never played before" and round out with Muse as its been a long time since they headlined and they have a new album coming which seems on the heavier side from the singles so far.   I could see Muse do their own tour to be fair, maybe MCR in their place? Could also see Deftones switched out for Slipknot/SOAD depending on who is about.
    • I have no issue with the Primavera crowd in most respects. They’re always friendly, respectful and no hint that there could be trouble at any point.   However…the talking is horrific here. The xx was pretty much ruined for me due to people having conversations with their mates the whole way through. Noticed it from all different nationalities across the weekend…English, Irish, Spanish etc. There seems to be no understanding of the nuances of when it’s okay to talk and when it isn’t. And obviously the sound being quiet at a lot of spots on the main stages exacerbates the issue. That alone has made me reconsider whether I will be coming back, it would probably take a lineup as good as this year (unlikely)

    • I found the vibe a little different to recent editions.. definitely an older crowd, less queer, less Spanish.. certainly has something to do with the lack of Glastonbury this year. And I felt Saturday was a little overcrowded. I‘ve never seen Mordor as full as last night for the xx and Gorillaz. Did not enjoy that too much.
    • Not my favourite year either, despite liking the lineup more than previous years. Not sure what it was, I guess Thursday really put the brakes on things. But yeah I'll be back next year hopefully. And maybe Massive Attack will return...
