I should really of been trimming our laurel hedge this weekend as it needs to be done. Fear of pre Glastonbury weekend power tool / back injuries has made me reconsider. Best not to cut them during a drought. You’ve done them a favour.

Sasperella2
Great update from Gav though! I'd sacrifice one day of potentially too hot (and ideally sunday) if the rest is low 20s and dry

richy24
Went to little festival in Essex today. 21/22 degrees, cloudy with the sun occasionally breaking through. Felt absolutely perfect.

THROUGH TO GATES OPEN Similar levels of rain on Sunday to the last run, which is nothing to cause the site problems with dry Monday with temps of 22. The site will be back to it's pre-weekend rock-hard state by the end of Monday even if there is more rain than forecast. Tuesday is an improvement, with the heaviest rain further east and missing the site. Latest run on the right. Obviously, still a bit of a close call. Dry when the gates open on Wednesday, temps of 18. Wednesday itself is pretty much the same as the last run, with only the possibility of very light rain. Highs of 21. THURSDAY Improvement: Completely dry with highs of 20. FRIDAY Huge improvement! The rain tracks north through Wales, and it's a completely dry day. Highs of 22. SATURDAY Some very, very light showers showing in the afternoon - but you would even notice they've happened. It's effectively dry with highs of 22. And... hold your breath... Yep, the finger is coming in! Latest run is on the right. You can see the reds are pushing up to the UK, and keeping the lows - the yellows - to the north. SUNDAY Completely dry, highs of 25. SUMMARY A superb run with no rain of any note throughout the festival - and the high winning out against the low. Are there any more twists and turns to come? DRINK IT IN!!! Cant have all the bikini clad girls freezing at night when the winds pick up. Was going to rain in 2020. There was a literal dust devil that popped out of nowhere last year and tore up a food stall and left a mess in its wake. Had overnight rain before. Dust storms and high winds. The desert is a dangerous place. And nowhere else in the world were you going to be at a music festival with the full sun out and snow in the mountains. Paradise. And why is everyone now scared over a spot of rain. Is your influencer outfit gonna get ruined now? Just need a light drizzle to keep those dust devils down.
