The same promoter already has The Smile and Death Cab/Postal Service gigs in Spain around the same time. They've also got Arcade Fire playing other dates around BBK, and of course they played Meo Kalorama and Casa Mijas last year. There's quite a lot of crossover with BBK and Meo Kalorama, not just in the same year, but as with Arcade Fire, across two years, so you'd assume for the bigger names, they might have multi-concert/festival deals that are bigger than just a simple Meo/Casa two for one. -
They've oversold tickets and theres too many people on site so they need to clear as many obstacles out of the way as possible. -

For anyone considering joining an eFests virtual meet just do it! It may seem a little daunting if it's your first time but it's an incredibly friendly and welcoming bunch. Obviously the topics of conversation are mainly Glastonbury related....although other completely random stuff can pop up. It's always interesting, informative and entertaining. The attendees are a mix of ticket holders, workers, volunteers etc which often results in info and insights which will not necessarily be available anywhere else. It is not, erm, unknown for participants to treat it like an alternative to an evening at the pub with a bunch of friends old and new which has been know to extend to messy lockins😄 I'm not ashamed to admit that when I finally plucked up enough courage to join my first VM I did it in disguise and all I said throughout was the occasional `caw caw`. -

That is an absolute stinker of a lineup. I have been to this festival a few times but it seems a million miles from what it used to be - - as I understand, a lot of the cool areas (Body & Soul, Other Voices and even Casa Bacardi?) are gone now too, so it's just... Shite, as my Irish friends would say. 😅
