So - BE, KL and HS then? Macca isn’t confirmed is he?

Nah I think the article is just rubbish and the third headliner will be Macca, especially as all the people giving us Kendrick info said it was Macca as well.

Missed a few pages here. Is the general consensus we’re losing Swift but getting Billie, Macca and Kendrick (Fri-Sun in that order).

Paves the way for a 2023 trio of Taylor, Arctic Monkeys and a George Ezra type?

Arctics, Swift, Radiohead

Yeah, rumoured to be in that order with Billie "replacing" Swift and then switching the days round. I think Swift will play next time she tours, which I'm guessing is next year.

Don’t even tease.

Mentioned it in another thread but I'm putting my chips on Radiohead. They would certainly be a huge surprise since they're not active, but two of the band will probably be performing there anyway and others may well be attending, Emily and Michael both love them and call them the best headliner for 97 and they seem to be a band capable of getting together and performing without too much prep.

Pure speculation and likely won't happen, but if I had to predict a "big surprise" that would be it.

Two can play at that game.

I'd love to see Radiohead headline someday, hope they've got one more killer headline set up their sleeves. If / when the play, I'll do just about anything to get there, there's no one else I'd rather see headline.

Be interesting to see if Kendrick allows his set to be televised. He didn't when he did Reading I believe.

Then from where this is coming from?

By the way, I expect his Glasto with a much better production than that one as it felt a bit flat (and longer too).

Did that go out live?

I swear I looked for it on the night and couldn't find it and there was chat on here about it not being on.

I felt the same, until I saw them headline!

    • 👍 plus they brought their own screens 📺 either side of the stage.
    • Production was the only thing that could even explain why she would back out. Like they had sorted out the financials and she was fine with it and then a production meeting happened. It all fell apart. It was very clear that she was not going to compromise her show one bit and then that show in Brazil pretty much confirmed it. There was like one element they couldnt pull off outdoors, but it was negligible since the rest was a carbon copy of the tour she had been on. Glasto is not willing to make any bold changes on the Pyramid stage so then theyre kinda stuck in terms of what some acts want/demand. I think the easiest solution to that is putting her on Friday. You deal with the changes for one night and then re configure for the rest of the weekend. In 24 they were fortunate to have had Dua and Coldplay on Fri and Sat so they could both use the b stage. But I think it was removed for Sunday?     I saw a random rag article earlier that said Olivia Dean turned down Glasto BECAUSE her ex ( not even confirmed dating ) Harry Styles was playing the fest. hahahaha
    • No argument that he’s bigger than ever, I just have no enthusiasm for it.
    • Keep in mind those crowds were full of teenagers. Glasto aint full of teenagers. Theres no way she could demand headline and get it because they got other acts to give the slot to who deserve it with a bigger catalog. Reading/Leeds would headline her cause its still LN.  If the fest was struggling its Other headline. But a 3rd down Pyramid is likely the landing spot. Itll go down like the Camila Cabello performance pretty much.
