Did anyone actually say the Jan lockdown was to save Easter? I thought it was because cases/hospitalisations/deaths were spiralling out of control. And the roadmap made clear that we wouldn't be open by Easter.

The November lockdown was too late to do anything about saving Xmas.

It depends what metrics they use. I think further delay because either they'll want more second doses or the numbers will be worse than today

the nerds will find another reason to delay. They can sense if they do it a few more weeks, they can get winter restrictions and then keep their ideas in all the way until Spring next year
