Glastokeeno
Never used gate A before guys, once you get to the end of the zig zag and turn the corner is it a straight line to the gates? Or more queuing systems?
TheBurns
Leaving Glastonbury village now. Is gate d still longer than a or do we know?

That's also gate A, but presumably not a four hour queue from the coach stop? We arrived at 07:30, wristbands on and kissing the grass at 09:15. I struggle to believe anyone’s queuing for four hours there if they’re coming off coaches. 8 minutes ago, Glastokeeno said: Never used gate A before guys, once you get to the end of the zig zag and turn the corner is it a straight line to the gates? Or more queuing systems? Once you’ve zig-zagged to the white overhead sign marking out drop-off/Nationals Express/See the separate queues meet and it’s a brief snake around to security. Took us 15-20 minutes from there to being in. Edit: I gather it’s different if you’re coming from car parks to the south? That sounds pretty grim. The Nal
Gate A is far shorter now than it was an hour ago. I'd say 20000 people shorter.
Northtim
Gate A, anyone know how much more q when reach end of building after snaking, non-coach entry side? Edited June 26, 2019 by Northtim
Hutchmaster
On the Big Lemon coach from Victoria, door failure before we even left so still haven't departed. At least it gave me a chance to get some last bits from the Argos nearby ?

magliad
On the coach and getting to gate a for 1pm-ish. What do we think it’ll be like by then?
sadimmock
At Ped Gate A now. Been here about 25 and would estimate another 45 Queue is substantial but moving quickly.

Reckoner
Arrived pink car Park about 9. Pretty much a straight walk to gate d, maybe 15 minutes in the queue. Camp set up and cider in hand before lunch. I’m in shock.
Northtim
Rumour of no q gate D so plenty leaving A. We’ve stuck it out for 3.5hrs now so staying put.
Joshuwarr
Is the variation between queueing times at PGA explained by the fact that some people at that gate came by coach (quicker access) and some queueing did not?

I think so. We came on a National Express coach and were shoo’d into a particular pen which is moving very fast

Think so, but we’re not letting anyone join d queue at about 8. Seems a right fuck up if D is now clear but that cud be bs.
amfy
We have the queue of PGB a hearty round of applause on our way back to Oxfield from the Tow & Hitch at about 4am this morning. You lot are mental but reminded us why we are working to be here - because it means that much to so many people - we just have to get through that gate to the farm what ever it takes! Reckoner
Can’t vouch for D now, but at 9:30ish we pretty much went straight through bar maybe the last 2 rows of the cattle grid.
Tranquility of Solitude
Bus arrived gate A 8:25, wristband on 9:55. Hope that's useful to anyone still in queue. Yippee!
efcfanwirral
Been in the zig zag at A for going on 3 hours. About two thirds through and at least an hour to go. Not good
sparkyswitch
Piss poor crowd management between gate a & d. People bailing out of a que to go to gate d
