Ok, so I have stickers and a pen!  At this stage so far so good.

We will have the eFests flag but are not taking the pole, sticky stick (hope that's not patented), as it's a pain in the arse.

So look for the flag pegged to a fence, guy rope, table, persons back, hat.

Someone will need to explain this rule to me - it can't be as weird as it sounds.

Oh it can.

So there is a school of thought that it is inappropriate, maybe even uncool, to wear a band's merch when going to a gig, e.g. wearing a Radiohead tshirt to a Radiohead gig.

Obviously there is an alternative school that posits  the theory that this is utter nonsense. Particularly at a festival when you'll be seeing multiple bands.

So, does wearing  an efests shirt to the efests meet count?

Thanks, that's much clearer . I'm in the alternative school and will be wearing my efests tshirt.

My own personal band tshirt rule is that you should never wear the tshirt of a band you've not seen live.

What if it’s a band you absolutely love but can’t see live as they’re dead/disbanded/not up for a retro comeback tour? I’ll never get to see Dio but I bloody love my Dio hoodie ?????

Well you can have whatever rule you want and if you love your Dio hoodie then that's great. I'm not dictating what the rules are - that's just my rule. It helps that I've got more than enough tshirts that fit the rule.

I saw Dio a few times but never had a t-shirt. You can wear it on my behalf.

no, I have the stickers. :P

Just packed. :)

Now, we all know that just packing the stickers doesn't necessarily guarantee that they will make it to the meet ?

See you at the Ridge and Furrow (or maybe in the CV fields!) :D
