wro_lap
With that nugget of info I could see them chucking names like Foals, Biffy Clyro etc who people have (rightly or wrongly) suggested to headline, on the Other Stage. Anyone else who fits into that bracket?

jparx
Is that the first time they’ve actually mentioned “going big for the 50th”?
gmb1992
I thought Aerosmith said when they played Download it would be the last time they would play in the UK?
PDAD
Nick Cave & TBS fits that criteria I think.

Think that's not a terrible shout, all of a sudden. Ffs Emily, you've just created two months of dialogue on this forum about whether or not Aerosmith and The Strokes are gonna headline the Other. eFestivals
the two booked headliners haven't headlined before - so that's Macca out.
JSmurphy
Also seen this: Emily Eavis: Glastonbury 2020 will feature two headliners who haven't played the festival before. Anyone got any real confirmation she said this? Or total bollocks.
RaphPH
Based on circultaing rumours - Emily saying Two headliners have never played before rules in either Coldplay / Macca / Neil Young

I was adamant that they'd try not to overplay the whole "50th Anniversary" thing and play it like any other year; if anything to not devalue what the festival normally brings. This opens up a huge can of worms.

That actually narrows its down significantly. Hard to see past Taylor now. I reckon Taylor and The 1975
