Second main stage? 😂

Apparently there will be according to Melvins latest NME interview. Only one headliner carried over too

'Every one of them is a first time headliner'. Think emphasis must be on 'headliner' there.

Actually rules out quite a lot of predictions in here. No Strokes, no Green Day, no Chilis, no Arctic Monkeys, no MCR. I'd imagine that makes Stormzy and Liam Gallagher again incredibly likely, but definitely not Rage Against the Machine (though I guess we all suspected that).

With two main stages and essentially 6 main headliners, I hope it's actually 6 'headline quality' acts and not just that same old budget for three headliners essentially halved for each. Though if they can keep one rockier act and one hip-hop/pop act each night that would at least please most fans.

    • MGK would probably end my interest in this festival completely.
    • The basement, deafheaven, Mannequin pussy clash is v annoying. Also not sure why pinkpantheress is in the tent, surely going to be ramos.
    • It's just this:   Search up which orgs are currently in Tufton St, funded by Koch Brothers, Robert Mercer, and Matthew Elliot.   It's moved on from "Vote Leave" and "Leave Means Leave" into the lobbyists against net zero. It's the same funding from the same people in the same place lobbying our media and politicians.
    • Debut album from Haiver (ex Frightened Rabbit's Billy Kennedy band) is an absolutely gorgeous thing. If you're a fan of FR then you'll probably like it. Definitely a contender for album of the year for me.
    • The tickets for the back at Muse, did go on sale. I know because I bought tickets there because they were the cheapest. All in with fee's, I got tickets at £81.20 each.   So likely, sold out quickly for those wanting the cheapest tickets. Either that or sold poorly and they took them off sale and when I turn up they offer me paper ticket upgrades because they closed the back.
