IDLES at Shambala this weekend.... sadly I will not be in attendance.

I swear I'm this fucking close to smashing £65 on a ticket for Barrowlands (although this would involve giving money to StubHub). Have signed up for alerts on Twickets. I'm such a fool for not just buying two while at Glastonbury and trying to convince someone to come with me after.

Gutted I didn't take my phone to Glastonbury and get a ticket for their Manchester December gig. The Park set was great.

Annoyingly their Ally Pally gig clashes with The National in Brighton.

It was one or the other and I went with The National.

Same. I've been desperately trying to get tickets for Barrowlands. I've got twickets alerts on my phone and email. A few are coming through but even on the two occassions I've pressed buy the instant the message alert came through they were already "being bought my another buyer". So frustrating! 

Anyone have any more luck with the alerts on twickets?

I think we're pretty confident they'll appear. Perhaps a high JP slot. Is there a new album next year?

They've been in the studio recently so if suspect it will be with us by summer.

One of the bookers for Bearded Theory has said that (Bearded couldn't book them because) they're on an exclusive somewhere. So probably not likely.

I’ve keep missing out as well on twickets, I think touts have bots set up.

They’re maybe a bit big for it now but they’d be great as a William’s Green secret set. The tent would be chaos for that, more broken ribs than Chase & Status at Reading and Leeds.

Phone and email alerts come through a bit slowly. Monitor the Twickets account(s) on twitter, they come through instantly. Often about ten minutes between the two.
