Unless I'm mistaken isn't The Park like way smaller than West Holts which they packed out last time?

Yep significantly. Certainly one of the bigger acts to headline the Park I would imagine. Can't think of anyone bigger.

I wouldn't put Hot Chip as an act much bigger than James Blake, Mogwai, Metronomy, Grimes and The Flaming Lips who have all headlined park recently tbh. Yeah they will always pull a big crowd, but probably more hyped on this forum than to the average joe.

What a fucking party its going to be at The Park. Even if I'm not there, I'll be made up for those who are

If it's a patch on West Holts it'll be incredible

I reckon Bluedot will be better than Glastonbury. There is something special about concerts in front of the Lovell telescope. It is just absolutely awe inspiring.

Have you seen they’re headlining a festival in Rouken Glen in Giffnock? Pretty decent day and it’s less than 10 minutes down the road from me so I’ll probably head down for it.

Aye, was quite surprised. Its the people who did the Fiesta Fold thing in Kelvingrove that are behind it. Reckon I'll head down for the Sunday, its close to me as well

I guess you all have tickets to the festival? I do not.

Does not seem right somehow? Maybe it does. I don't know anymore, maybe this my year off. But Nahh.

Hot Chip Krap Kraft dinner, seeing them next Saturday in Trinity, Bristol.

    • Proper special gig tonight. They won't mean much to most people, but The Dogs D'Amour were one of the most significant bands of my youth.   Tyla, yer main man of said band, was playing in Birkenhead tonight. Not many there, but it was going fine. Then he decided he didn't like the smoke and the flashing lights so suggested moving the gig to the beer garden. Off we all went, and it was magical. Like having your favourite musician play in your garden. I absolutely loved it.   Before:     After:
