What are the odds that at 1pm we get a load of random numbers on a calculator that ends with a clue withe the number 9 and then tomorrow at 1pm we get one with 8 and so on

Then after the tenth day we get a date, and...........................................

That date is for a band that 99% of people have never heard of that formed in 2017 or something

10 days break until the next announcement (9 now) ? LOL

Guess so but still kinda weird/stupid the way they did it. No need for hints if they are taking a break, but definitely no need for leaving the number 10 out there if today they were going to be silent.

Last year every hint led either to a band or bands announcement or to fest/tickets info.

Wasting people's time for nothing is just great.

Kraftwerk just announced as headlining Bluedot week after MC, are they a headliner in Spain? Definitely wouldnt headline a major festival in North America but I could be underestimating their popularity in continental Europe. Could see them in the Massive Attack spot (ideally they'd show up)

They are probably headlining Sonar.

Smashing Pumpkins would be a quality edition. But I'm still not certain that there's enough to get me on to a plane to Madrid again. Unfair to compare with last year's line-up, as it was an all time great panel of talent IMO

Have come to terms with the fact that this year was exceptional, can't see any festival having as strong a line-up in 2019. Would go as far as saying MC 2018 was the best line-up at any festival in the world this year.

    • I'm 59. It's not so much the music as the camping/late night chaos I've grown out of at R+L. If I was still local to Leeds I might still be persuaded for a day ticket if the lineup was to my taste.
