Amazing riff, awful lyrics. Great live tho.

Remember someone earlier on the forum shuddering at the thought of hearing it ringing out on the main stage....;)

Do we think there will be an act between Courteeners and Run The Jewels?

Doubt it, possible one between Slowthai and RTJ

Gerry is too big to not sub. I'd argue he's even too big to sub.

Fucking idiots.

EDIT: Sub size varies so hes probably past that level. Overall point stands though.

Can't wait for him to get one of the biggest crowds of the weekend, especially with LG on straight after him.

Many people may not be fans of his music, but you can't deny his size at the moment and I assume that will only grow after his second album drops.

Reckon there will be more to see him than Liam, simply because of his live rep and the fact he’s new.

He’ll get less people the next time he turns up, if he ever does again, which I suspect is doubtful

Be gutted if no relentless stage, The late night stages is what makes leeds what it is I feel!

I agree, really hoping they carry the stage on this year cos I know for a lot of my mates who like techno/house music the relentless stage is the make or break for them! I know there’s other late night stages but if they remove Relentless I feel they’ll get A LOT of hate cos it really does add that much to the experience.

Just been on the leeds website and seen that Relentless energy drink are no longer a sponsor. Wonder what this means for the Relentless stage? I assume they’ll carry it on under a new name instead of scrapping it? Weird cos Relentless have sponsored Leeds for the best part of the past decade or so I think. Thoughts?

Surely there's no way they'd scrap it, it's bigger now than it ever has been and with the addition of that other late night stage (not Piccadilly the new one, forget the name) been a hit too. But im interested to see where they take it.

Gerry's debut album is also currently on a year long chart stint set to hit 53 weeks come Friday. (self released may I add)

To put this into perspective, Liam Gallaghers solo debut had a chart run of 46 weeks.

The man is a machine and as much as even myself may not be the biggest fan, there is no way anyone would slot in above him.

Personally I think Gerry is insane and will sell tons of tickets in Leeds however I'm not to sure he will shift tickets down south In Reading to be honest @Properbigfan might have a good call with A$AP Rocky subbing LG would be a big booking but would add a lot of hype to that day D-Block Europe - Aitch - Gerry Cinammon - A$AP Rocky - Liam Gallagher proper dark fruits day.

Literally only Gerry Cinnamon and LG would be described as 'dark fruits' from that list.

Excluding the oasis ones, surely this year's set of headliners have the least albums between them ever? 2 from LG, 1 from Stormzy with another coming and then Rage's 4 too.

Stormzy released his second album back in December.

1996 Headliners - RATM (2 albums), Black Grape (1 Album), Stone Roses (2 Albums)! There's probably been headliners with a less total?

jake bugg would be lucky to sub the festival republic stage at this rate tbh

Nah, he could probably still get away with something like 3rd on Main, like The Kooks, Blossoms and Vaccines, other past-their-peak indie acts who have played that slot in recent years.

Never a sub again in a million years though. Think I'm the only one who felt he was big enough for that slot, between 2012 and 2014 he was massive.
