  1. Yeah I'd say as far as tribute acts go, they're really up there. Look like quite a young bunch too
  2. Helllooo, been lucky enough to win 2 tickets for the festival, however just clocked that they're "weekend - no camping" tickets. I've got a large party already going but all camping. Anyone any experience with trying to blag your way in to the campsites etc. after the arena closes?
  3. If only the lock up still existed...
  4. Aren't FR putting on the Gunnersbury show too? Very unlikely they'd put that out and then announce them for R&L a few days after
  5. The wombats posting a picture of them at Reading 21 today and then saying this summers turning out to be huge on the festival front for us. Screams them doing the opening "special guest" slot on the Friday as NBT, Frank Carter has done in the years post COVID.
  6. If you go back to the 09/10 forums on here, there's loads of people calling it awful, underwhelming etc. Longing for the "good old days" and twenty years from now people will still be doing the same saying how amazing the 2022 line up was.
  7. Having gone to every R&L since 08, the “purge” on Sunday is no where near as bad as it was a decade or so ago. It’s just folk didn’t go around posting it so heavily on social media back then. I’m not condoning it but the pictures painted on Tik tok etc are over exaggerated.
  8. First time finally doing Glasto. With the car parking tickets is it a case of now or never when purchasing them or would I be able to come back at a later date? Transportations not quite finalised at the minute
  9. In regards to the negative camping experiences you lot had this year where abouts where you camped? I camped in Blue and spoke more to both my neighbours this year than I have in the previous 5 combined. Lovely set of people and I didn't see any trouble apart from the obvious fire in the distance.
  10. Yes, the shuttle bus will drop you off at the yellow gate, which is conveniently where you pick up your guess pass from.
  11. Yeah just done a double take now of this now, how is that gona work? You'd imagine they'd have to restrict the amount of stuff you can buy massively. Unless the exit leads back out in to the campsites
  12. I've had this exact same issue. Managed to fix it by deleting and reinstalling the TM app. Hope this works for you too.
  13. Yeah with a guest wristband you're still allowed anywhere and everywhere a standard punter is and you're free to camp where you please. Just gets you in to the guest bar and allows you to travel through the arena whilst it's closed to the public.
  14. Would be a real lyrical blow to the jaw.
  15. Just seen The Kid Laroi is playing in LA tonight, he's my number 1 bet to flake last minute
  16. The further away you camp from the arena the better in regards to the "safety" aspect. I'd suggest brown or green if you really wana get away from it. Whilst there are still idiots at the festival and likely always will be the general attitude has come on a long way in the past decade and the likes of bottling acts, tent burning and riots are for the most part just a part of festival folklore now.
  17. I find it so odd that they didn't add the rest of the alternative stage. They can't have the acts booked for it otherwise what possible reason could they have for holding acts back 2 weeks before the festival? Also big up DPU!
