the wonderwhy
They'd struggle to get a headline slot anyway, definitely on a Biffy Clyro kinda slope
Hugh Jass
Interesting that the Sheeranator hasn't immediately sold out. Star waning? Or is it just fatigue setting in with the prospect of a third straight summer touring the same album?
HeyPorter
Parents feeling it’s too soon to be shelling out 82 quid a pop. I always thought he kept prices reasonable. Edited September 27, 2018 by Retro P

Jericode
Bristol is supposedly June 3rd or 4th at Ashton Gate according to a guy on the Download forums. Would expect the other UK dates to be around the same time.

Jericode
I'm pretty happy with Bristol tbh, best I can hope for really being based in Cardiff.

How do I know that and you don't? 1 minute ago, thewayiam said: That says something about Muse when they are downgrading as far as Ashton Gate It's the biggest venue in Bristol so if they wanna play the city then they have to play that stadium. Bon Jovi play it quite often I believe.

Ah I just saw it on their website when I went on it yesterday. Didn't check the date of the article just assumed it was this Friday. Only stadium allowed is the Millennium Stadium. DownboundTrain52
Heard a fairly strong rumour flying around that Elland Road in Leeds has a gig booked for next summer. It may not be on Muse's list of currently-announced cities - but part of me wonders. There's only so many stadium tours that go through the UK each summer and given Take That have booked the John Smith's Stadium in Huddersfield and Metallica have left little room for extra dates, you never know. (I'll be honest, more hedging on a Liam Gallagher w/Courteeners type deal though, perhaps a one-off Glastonbury week.)

Arctic Monkeys? I know they’re from Sheffield but maybe they haven’t been able to secure a hometown venue for a big Yorkshire show?

Even with a Sheffield stadium date, they could probably still sell out a gig at Elland Road too.
the wonderwhy
Doubt it’ll be Arctics. They still wanna do parks over stadiums.
