Managed to get presale manchester this morning can't wait must be 5 years since last tour .

Never managed to see Damien Rice.  Every time he tours (which is rare) I can't make the date or don't manage to get tickets.  Same this time with the Manchester date. 😞 Hope he crops up at G, that would be a real bonus.

Dunno the logic here. But Malahide Castle would've been much, much smaller than any of the other venues on the UK+Ireland tour so it seemed a strange choice to start with.

Yep hope so this'll be 3rd time but must be in 12 13 years it's a rare thing indeed

Bet heaps of irish people bought tickets to other dates as a result, just for the venue to be upgraded.

I remember back in 2012 that AM did 3 nights in a row in Paris in 3 separate venues. Might as well do something like that at this rate given how they seem to be being shifted between different Dublin venues.

Shaky Knees has had some decent line-ups in the past tbf. Not that I'm sure if any of this is giving off any clues for who may or may not be about in Europe a few weeks down the line.

Agreed, and they are a fantastic band. Hopefully they return to Glastonbury in 2023.

Agreed, I was surprised by that. Aside from those handful of solo shows he did a while back it's the first time I think I've seen his name crop up.

What am I missing here? Thought it was pretty widely accepted that Future Islands are great live. Last album was a bit of a step down IMO but the singles they've released since then are cracking.

Yeah, Future Islands are an exceptional live band. That Other Stage slot a few years back was an all-time festival moment for me.

Samuel T Herring will give more energy and passion than all other performers on that stage that Noel G day. is just an odd booking to have them there in the first place
