May not be everyones cup of tea, but Lloyd Cole has announced a tour in October called Rattlesnakes to Guesswork, so hopefully some early stuff. 16 nights, 6 in Scotland 10 in England.

I know it’s the Chilis but I’m still curious to see this in action so may have a nose.

They have had a few gigs there.

Egyptian trance act Aly & Fila played there a few years ago.

Im in a minority on here... I dont mind RHCP. I cant say Im a huge fan, but if thry play the hits I'd be happy. (barring cant stop - that annoys me)

Me too. Californication played in its entirety would encourage me to see them again. Surprisingly the last album wasn’t terrible either.

Me three! Haven't been a huge follower of their recent stuff but loved seeing them 10 or so years ago. A lot of their stuff (Californication especially) soundtracked my teen years.

I’m trying to be nice after repeated instances of being told off for saying mean things about bands.

Funny one that coz there's loads of offenders for doing that, but when you say things you come across as a Huge Ass. Can't put my finger on why.

If anyone from Manchester foolishly assumed Little Simz wouldn't sell out last Friday (like I did) the venue just 'upgraded' to academy 3 so there's some tickets going. Feel bad for people who originally had Deaf Institute tickets as that'd be poppin' but deep down I don't coz I can go and see her now as well.

    • Either or. They both play the same venues.

    • Interesting to read. It's mostly why we stopped going a few years back even though it's the nearest big festival to home. The post-exams timing and location makes it a rites of passage first festival for people in a big area. Understandably that leads to a bit of giddiness. Think lineup would need to be a lot more my cup of tea to be enticed back. Friends who are there are having a good time tho and no rain is a good thing for up there.
    • I honestly didn't know it had, I still thought it was where the view overlooked the lake and view.   I think my decision not to attend this year at least was justified. Biffy was the big draw but after Finsbury I knew they wouldn't play what I want to hear again and well work also got in the way. Believed interesting to hear if Libertines were any good as they were also a pull but Sunday did nothing for me really with all my acts on Friday and Saturday.
