Just me that thinks gigs at the actual pyramids is hideous?

I've never been less fussed about the Pyramid than this coming festival. Not for any other reason than I'll likely be in family camping and close to West Holts (and the Kidz Field), which - with a (by then) heavily pregnant wife and a three year old - means WH and maybe the Acoustic will be my easiest stages to get to regularly.

There was just a Travis Scott date for Manchester Arena, 19th July on Ticketmaster a few minutes ago. Not there no more but I'm sure that announcement will be imminent.

Ooh, I've been hoping this would happen!  Thanks for the spot!

I'll 100% be there if there's an arena tour.

Sadly he's a UK festival exclusive at Wireless, as far as I'm aware - so no chance of Glastonbury. If that's the case it's a huge shame, I narrowly missed seeing Astroworld in Houston, TX due to work commitments (I was nearby for a few nights).

Saw him at Lollapalooza in France which was mostly Rodeo/Cactus Jack stuff. Would love to see him now.

I like Chilli's, Reading and Benni in 2016 and 2017 respectively, were fantastic

Ooh, I was at the '17 Beni set.  Absolutely lost my shit when they played Higher Ground and Fire, never heard them do those live before. I thought they were bang on form, way better than on the Stadium Arcadium tour.

garbage, santigold and the foals are all playing a festival in croatia the begining half of glasto week. would be easy to fly them over for the weekend! santigold was excellent when she performed a couple of years ago.

The Foals are already in Bournemouth and Kingston the two days before anyway.

    • It feels really busy this year, loads of big groups of youngsters too. Slightly different vibe to previous years I've been. As with Tramlines, they're very chatty during sets and there's a constant stream of them in and out of the crowd... definitely feeling my age 😂   The Quarry stage I think is a lot smaller than previous years - seems similar size to Squid/Leadmill. Some sets have been difficult to get in.   I think I've reached my limit with mid-tier indie guitar bands. There's been quite a few this weekend where I've gone over to see them then walked away after 20 mins. Surprisingly, enjoyed the Fratellis set the most in this genre. Probably getting on for 20 years since I last saw them. Wasn't expecting them to do Yes Sir, I Can Boogie, which was fab!   Hugely enjoyed the Happy Mondays yesterday, and same but different with Radio Free Alice who I saw again on Friday, following Tramlines last weekend. A big run of pop acts today - Scissor Sisters will be fantastic!
