No chance. He'd play with his band or no band, we're talking about one of the greatest musicians of all time. He demands high standards.

He really doesn't

Doesn't he guest with loads of people? I can't see him having a problem with singing with the Bootlegs considering they're about the most accurate band in the world at playing his songs!

Hey guys, long time lurker here - been meaning to make an account for a while and this seemed a good opportunity.

I know someone who plays for the Bootleg Beatles and I can 100% confirm they're playing that Pyramid slot and there's 0% chance Macca is joining them. If only it was so :( Sorry to rain on that - unlikely - parade.

Peace x

Strongest hint yet that Macca is playing Sunday teatime in the Acoustic Tent.

I've been away for a few days and trying to catch up.

Could someone please confirm: do we know the "really big secret", or are we still in wild speculation mode?

We dont know 100%

The general idea is that it is Liam Gallagher, Maccabees and Elbow, spread out as TBAs across the line up

    • She was/is 100% in the mix, but I don't know specific timings and how it relates to that interview. They've clearly gone after her, again.   It could be read in a number of ways - she was in negotiations at that point, she was talking about BST (and he's interpreted it, as we have, as Glastonbury). Who knows
    • So sad to see the news that John Douglas of the Trashcan Sinatras has died. They only released their latest album last week and it is wonderful.  So underrated and a member of such a great long running band that have meant so much to me over the last 40 years. https://trashcansinatras.com/blogs/news/john-douglas-1963-2026
    • listening to jamie east's podcast earlier he said that he'd heard fender is confirmed, and that as of 2 weeks ago Madonna hadn't been approached.
    • which would make that Graham Norton interview nonsense .... although obviously things change
    • I dunno - I thought that initially but I'm, reluctantly, edging towards not happening as it stands. Will continue to dig where I can, though.   Re 2028 - I wouldn't be confident. If this is the second time they've tried and it's gone belly up, it could be a case of just write it off.
