The xx won't be playing against Radiohead. If they headline Other it'll be opposite Foos or Sheeran.

Anyway I've seen 2 headline sets on the Other and they've been the two best sets I've seen at Glastonbury so I personally wouldn't be worried about that.

I'm still wanting em on before Radiohead. Sat and Sun headliners coming from a selection of Bon Iver, Justice, The Flaming Lips and Foo Fighters (preferably the former two on Other and WH).

Forgot in my above post that I've also seen Massive Attack headline Other. Wasn't in my top 3 Glasto sets but still had a blast.

I'm one of the few people who actually really like The Other stage, I've had some great times there, mostly involving The Chems.

 

But, I really don't want The XX there. In an ideal (self indulgent) world I'll have a Pyramid headliner (Radiohead) plus one at  West Holts and either of Park or JP.

And even if it was - just have a piss when the xx finish. Stones aside, you never have to watch the support to get in the pit. Never mind for Radiohead who aren't gonna be that popular. You should know that by now. 

Depends where you want to stand.  I've only been in the pit* once, in 2014 and I was there for Elbow before shuffling up a bit for Arcade Fire - I wouldn't have fancied pushing my way through if I'd had to leave to go for a piss.  My shoving days are over thanks.

*The moshing during My Sad Captains was terrifying.

A dangerous game.  I played this approach on Friday last year.  I didn't remember watching Bastille and fell asleep standing up during Disclosure.

Technically it was rum & ginger rather than neat shorts, but I'd hit it hard. Interesting story was certainly the end result.

No memory of Bastille at all until I heard them on the radio a week later.  Visibly drooping during Disclosure it was suggested that some stimulants may help.  Tried that and about 10 minutes later my friends caught me as I toppled forward.  Back to the tent on Big Ground to get more rum, fell asleep in my chair in the middle of Muse's set.  Woke up at 1am and promptly passed out in my tent flap.

And all for the love of rum and party cigarettes.

Au contraire.  When I did remember seeing Bastille I also remembered having a wicked time!  I think being smashed clearly had something to do with it

But back on topic.  The xx. For some reason I'm just not getting on with their new album, and I don't know why. On paper it's right up my street but...dunno.
