Wish they hadn't been soundchecking Optimistic 'cause now I'm gonna be hoping for Optimistic, and we're almost definitely not gonna get Optimistic.

OK Computer recently shot back to the top of their albums for me so this is pretty exciting, although as I'm seeing them three times this year I certainly hope they don't play it in full all three times.

Can't see them just doing that at gigs already sold out. Surely they'd announce separate gigs if they were going to do this?

Maybe, but that'd be a bit shite to all the people who bought tickets + travel to go to Manchester/TRNSMT to see them, or maybe that kind of stuff doesn't factor in to decisions like this

Loads of them all over now , ok computer dates please

If it turned out that the Manchester dates weren't OK Computer shows but the new ones were I'd be a bit pissed - would be nice to see the album in full at least once, even if I don't want it three times over,

But nobody bought tickets to those expecting Radiohead to play OK Computer in full. If they slapped on a load of extra tour dates, I don't think there'd be any right to be upset that they're just getting the set they expected at point of purchase. And they'd try cop tickets anyway.

I suppose that's one way to look at it, but I know I'll be a little peeved that I didn't hold out for an OK Computer show ticket ('cause I just can't justify paying for a third ticket/seeing them 4 times ).

I'd be really surprised if Radiohead go down the 'play one old album in full' nostalgia route. I think it's more likely to be a re-release or something.

Aye, that's what I'm expecting it to be. Obviously I'll be all over the tickets if I'm wrong though!

Just listened to Amnesia for the first time in ages - forgot how bloody good Knives Out is - anyone know if they still play that at all or not a hope in hell?

Hasn't been played since 2008

I'm usually wary of bands touring specific albums from their discography as it usually means they have run out of fresh ideas, but I know Radiohead have plenty left in the tank and let's be honest, OK Computer is one of the greatest records of all time.

Right, I have made a playlist of these songs to get me up to speed by June. Thanks very much, Tuna

Fuck me, that's the first time I've ever heard Paranoid Android, What an appalling song. Interminable. Some kind of horrific Brian May guitar solo in it.

I've only heard Kid A, Amnesiac, Rainbow and the latest one. Some absolute belting stuff on them, mind.

    • I see, well even if they aren't on sale it's still not a disaster sales wise, it's not like they are struggling to sell a half capacity areana
    • Blue dot wouldn’t be a thing if Ticketmasters dynamic pricing went down as well as up, it proves that the dynamic pricing was just a scam to make more money rather than something that moved with the market supply/demand.
    • I agree that we’ll never really know up until the concert happens (and even then we still may not know) but I think promoters are having to come up with new tactics to combat ‘blue dot fever’ (already hating that phrase!) and trying to imply that concerts are selling better than they actually are / available tickets are in short supply is definitely one of them.    To add though, it is quite common at the O2 Arena for the rear blocks to not go on sale (and then remain closed for the concert and covered over to hide the empty seats). And equally common for standing to sell out first, then side/lower tier seating next and rear/upper tier seating last.    Jungle’s two concerts at the O2 are a good comparison for this - for their 1st (announced) date, all blocks are on sale and seats in all sections remain unsold, whereas for their 2nd date, the rear blocks are greyed out (more so than for Muse) and equally lots of seats remain unsold in the blue blocks. Standing for both concerts are showing as sold out.
    • MGK can and should headline. I was at one of his shows earlier in the year as a very casual fan, and there were a lot of alt people there. The show was actually class and he completely won me over. Anyone who opposes him headlining is just a gatekeeper imo, we need to move with the times.
