Listed on the ebay page of a promo seller with 99.7% positive feedback and over 23,000 stars...

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/381778913029?ul_noapp=true

and more importantly given the final sentence of this:

Kevin McCabe is Radiohead's promotions guy apparently, and Caroline is the company he works for. Just need someone to call that number...

Wow nice. Who can do the best Michael Eavis impression? 'Hi Kev, Michael here. Just wondering if the boys are still headlining next year? Also, please play Motion Picture Soundtrack. Cheers, Bye.'

Ha. It's totally happening. I just can't possibly see a way that they tour next year but don't play Glastonbury. I know it's happened before many times, but I just can't see it again. Especially given all the noise around them playing this year.

Sorry if I missed anything but has Thom not said in the past he does not want the pressure and all that goes with it to headline Glastonbury ?

I'm pretty sure he's never said that. There was a rumour about him not liking the pyramid sound, that's about it.

Hmm dunno about that, touring cycle = Glastonbury is a bit of a presumption when it comes to Radiohead to be fair. It's like the Daft Punk rumours, I hope it happens but I think we'll be talking about other acts come March or whatever.

It's a massive presumption! I just think when it's tied with the heavy rumours of them playing this past year, it certainly strengthens the argument they will headline the next.

Really hope so, I'm sort of assuming that I'll have to stump up for a UK show separate to Glastonbury but it'd be great if they did headline.

Weren't most of these rumours just started by us though?

Does the pressure for Radiohead to play Glasto just come from efestivalers ?

Outside of our bubble does anyone give a F**k if they play or not ?

Obviously the people I know in life isn't necessarily a fair representation of the UK, but, I honestly don't know of any band who I hear get universally discussed by so many people in different parts of my life. I would expect Radiohead playing to be as big as it gets.

i suspect you and i are on opposite ends of this scale then.  i even know stuartbert two hats in person but he's long since given up on me where Radiohead are concerned.

    • The rumour was uk arena tour late this year.  Same as Charli xcx cant be announced until Reading headline is done.
    • Latest from the sun at least is that harry is still headlining but Olivia has turned down a spot next year to work on new music and hope for 2028.   So they can't have Fender, Fontaines, Harry, Olivia and Madonna.
    • I mean I don't think EC and FFDP are borderline sub, they wouldn't be any lower now.   2025 is about as strong as Bloodstock gets yet this year only one headline would sub and the others would play 3rd down or lower.    Machine Head wouldn't sub at Download regardless of rarity, they don't sell enough tickets and I'm not sure Gojira would sub either. Their last UK tour was a mix of smaller arenas and academy dates. Ally Pally being the only London date, not even Wembley Arena.
    • live music / main stage will generally end around 11pm but theres dj’s and late goings on right till 4am if you are so inclined.   Drinks are about £7.50 a pint probably and yes theres lots of mixed drinks / spirits / cocktails available to buy   wonderful festival, back for my third year in a row and 4th overall
    • If anyone sees Lakefest this weekend on any sites please post here, I’ve got alerts set. Been on TFG in recent years and not sold out yet.
