It looks OK according to my accuweather app. And apart from the odd change of symbol the descriptions have been pretty similar for the last few days. This with the BBC and netweather forecasts I'm positive that we will have a fairly dry festival with the odd shower. (All based on science clearly).

For it to not rain at all, for it to be pleasantly warm with a degree of cloud cover.

Some people are never happy.

This is the stuff dreams are made of. I'm cautiously optimistic the BBC have it right. I can take the odd shower

Am I the only one actually hoping for a motherfucker of a monsoon so it makes it easier to get tickets next year?

Just to say it was stair rod stuff, thundery, hail downpours here yesterday (about 12 miles South of Pilton) and bands of showers this morning so far.  Lots of field run off I noticed on the way to work this morning BUT we're still several days away and have to say that Glastonbury ground doesn't half drain well these days.  I'm not too worried.

Metcheck would be better described as utterly bonkers. That rainforest combination of heavy rain and high heat is unlike any year on the farm in the past (or future if we're being honest)

So we're still in the making up as they go along time frame then!

That Gav youtube video started the panic, so here is his vid from roughly the same time last year so we can check his accuracy- haven't watched it all yet!

Gav's latest is up!

Actually if you compare it to the one he did at this time last year, and watch them side by side, they are roughly identical- same pressure charts, same temperatures, same rainfall charts. I can't actually remember what last years weather was though- can anyone help me out?

@Thunderstruck @pedmills and other weather people - is Gav any good? He seems to be just reading the GFS results, not doing any kind of analysis of multiple sources.

Are we doomed???

I've not actually seen his forecasts!

Still disagreement this morning - It looks like Wednesday and Thursday will be good, the GFS this morning is a massive hot outlier - so best ignored.

The UK Met Office and ECMWF have broad agreement for Wednesday, Thursday - it looks pretty decent with some sunshine.

After this it may turn a bit more unsettled with some showery rain coming through on the Friday, but like I said there's not really much agreement at the moment. The good thing is there's still no real chance of a washout IMO.

WHAT EVEN IS THIS?

35C and 23mm of rain......?!

Taken directly of the GFS - ignore it because it's a massive outlier. The black line is the one that produced the crazy forecast...you can see it's way above every other run (bar a couple)

He eats poached childrens lungs for breakfast and then before he forecasts the weather in the afternoon he walks around the park dressed up as Batman telling people hes Jesus Christ.

They have changed it since I looked earlier - thank god.

Wednesday looks shit but apart from that it is not bad. Earlier it was a 4 day mudbath.

Ok, I think they take their forecast off the ECMWF run - at the moment the ECMWF actually looks ok for Wednesday/Thursday.
