Met office currently not showing a single raindrop in the detailed forecasts for Shepton up to Saturday night

with a 3 minute light shower on the Saturday night starting just as Adele breaks in to the chorus of Set Fire to the Rain, situated only over the Pyramid field, and then that's the lot

I'm going in now, It's raining BUT; the forecasted rain for all day today has now turned into cloud/sun. So, who's the real winner here!?

I'll take the wet bullet and see ya'll in there!!

Yeah temperatures of 20c forecast, that should help quite a bit with drying out the site.

according to accuweathers minute cast its due to rain for another 59 minutes ending around 06.44 so at least its not going to carry on all morning....then hopefully as forecasted the sun will come out and good times will be had.

Yep. In Glasto town and its peeing it down. This is going to be possibly the worst ever year for getting people on site. At only 530am traffic backed through Glastonbury and pretty stationary, it's only gonna get a lot worse. I'd put off travelling down until tomorrow or maybe even Friday based in current situation.

I'm not there so can't really pontifcate, but while queues haven't been that bad for about ~5 years or so, all day traffic jams onto the site aren't completely unheard of.

This is like nothing I've ever known. Gridlocked everywhere, miles back too.

    • This is great. Friday and Saturday main are 🔥   If they do end up touring next year I could see a trio of Blink, Deftones & Maiden working quite well.

    • True and given how rapidly it fell apart for Piastri in the final third of last season, we do have precedents for it going wrong.   Although Antonelli did a brilliant effort to eke out Monaco pole yesterday against Verstappen while Russell's down in 6th. I know Russell was unlucky in China and Japan but in the last few weeks, Antonelli is starting to look like he gets the demands of this new spec of car better.
    • I didn't watch all of the England friendly last night but I did see some of it. Still seems like they have a few gears to go through. But then I also felt that for the Uruguay and Japan friendlies a few months ago, so... hmmm...
