Weather 2016

That is perfectly sound reasoning I reckon.  I drink lots of water in the mornings, cider in the afternoons and spirits in the evenings whatever the weather, but in 2010 there were a lot more smoothies thrown in to the mix and a few less ciders.

I kind of fancy a storm. Watching the thunder and lightening from the hill in 2014 was so fun! I remember there was beautiful hot sunshine (even got sunburnt at one point) then it was pissing rain, then there was a storm. Love English weather.

last year was a good one, Friday it rained but then stopped after a few hours Mary J was a wash out

dried up quite fast

The rain started for me during catfish and the bottle men.  I was half way thru a long drop session and had to make a call on winding up early or powering thru.   Then during MJB no more drama particularly the rain added to the drama... loved her set one of my standouts actually.

I've only been going since '09 so have never had a truly wet one...Therefore I'd like to correlate my attendence with this fact.   I've has wet periods / evenings U2s headline slot was a particular low.

I've learnt the best way is to be prepared and now after 6 festivals I think I've got to clothing combo that suits... so the weather worries me less!

That Friday night in 2011 was a bit grim, I was walking up to The Park about 5ish and didn't see a single smiling face, just glum looking folk trudging under increasingly threatening skies.

Last year's rain was no hassle, being such a warm day it hardly made a dent on people's moods.  I bumped into a campmate at RTJ and it was smiles all round when the sun returned.

Fear not people! I have not been to glasto since 2003, but it has been beautiful sunshine every time I have been and what's more, I've been to countess festivals since around the UK and it never rains! the worst I've experienced was a shower at Lattitude at 3am as I stumbled home.

I am bringing the sunshine with me, your biggest worry is going to be how to nurse your hangover in blistering heat.

I should really charge you all for the privilege...

I can't remember when this roller coaster really starts to ramp up? It can't be overly long until there's a more detailed picture of the end of June now surely

Yeah they may be able to give an accurate ish forecast this day 7 weeks. When everyone is already on site.

This has nothing to do with the weather.

What a lunatic. If hes released this year we may get forecasts yeah but I can only see it being on compassionate grounds since he tore out his grandmothers pancreas and made her eat it.

I think Thor's my favourite out of those Gods. He just sounds hardcore, doesn't he? Although as the God of Thunder, I do hope he fancies a week off.

    • Feels a bit too big/expensive and no new headliner which I think they will do with Deftones. Would be shocked if they didn’t book them. Korn, Yungblud &/or Slipknot for Ozzfest I’m thinking.
