Manics in 94,that year there was also Elvis Costello, Peter Gabriel, Van Morrison, Jackson Browne, the legend Johnny Cash, Nick Cave.  Blur and Oasis before they really hit the big time,  I could go on and on, them were the days!!  but I didn't get my cherry popped that happened some time ago

This has probably been asked a hundred times, but what was the very first set you saw at Glastonbury?

Mine was Bjorn Again, opening the Pyramid in 1999! Haha. Epic sing-along!

Ha! I also had Bjorn Again, but was first act on Pyramid in 2009. It was raining, but at that point in time I didn't care, the smallish crowd were all loving it.

To be honest, I didn't want to go. Some mates had been in '92 and '93 and had tried to get me to come along. In '94 they succeeded, though partly because The Levellers were playing the main stage. Thought I'd had a reprieve when the stage burned down just before the festival. And to think I hesitated....

Rolf Harris in 2010 for me. regardless of what's come out since, i had a whale of a time and have very fond memories of it. sun was blasting, the crowd was ginormous and it instantly pissed all over every festival i'd been to prior

Another one for Rolf here. I think I would still rather see him than Kate Nash or Beady Eye..
