So they're either playing a higher slot or you're a big fan of their new album

I'd be slightly tempted to go with they aren't appearing this year, his wording suggests they aren't playing higher obviously and Other sub could be well out. Can't see Neil being a fan at all of The 1975 either.

Atease forum thinks Paris small venue gig at the Zenith for 23/24 May to be announced on Monday, tickets on sale Friday. May have a similar London date alongside that too.

That's very interesting, would love a fan club tour like the band used too do,

On atease a guy who seems to have a bit of info says the Paris dates are not the only ones and plenty more to be added

Sounds promising. I'm at peace with the likelihood that they're not playing GF so I'll settle for a UK show or two.

What if... the festival announce Adele as the headliner. and in the poster, they don't put any Radiohead name at all, so Adele is the "Headliner", but as we arrived and we get the programme booklet, and see the lineup, we read something like this:

Quote

FRIDAY
MUSE 21:15 - 23:45
THE LAST SHADOW PUPPET 19:15 - 20:25

SATURDAY
SPECIAL GUESTS 21:15 - 23:45
ADELE 18:55-20:25

SUNDAY
COLDPLAY 21:15 - 23:15
FOALS 19:30 - 20:25

So, yeah, Adele is billed as the headliner, but there's a surprise act that follows them. I don't see Adele needing to play when the sky is darker.

Imagine the anticipation...only for the intro to 'Lucky' breakout as the clock strikes 21:15 on the Saturday night..

You know we get the set times before the festival?

They obviously wouldn't announce Adele as the headliner and then not have her play as headliner. That would be insane. I thought I'd heard it all on here...

And yet the idea seems to be floated almost weekly.

    • Yeh, the quiet camping also seems to be on the same side (broadly) as the bits of the festival that go on the latest (Far Out / Chai Waalahs / RTT until 4am). We're always in Tangerine Fields which is right behind the main stage and as soon as that and Rising Stage are done it's pretty quiet (midnight onwards) which I'd guess is pretty similar if you can hack taking all your gear from the car past the big tree in the middle and into the campsites that side.
    • Can't see Bimble line up anywhere - am I being dense and missing an obvious release somewhere?
    • Not expecting a tour imminently but Peter Gabriel would fit the vibes magnificently.
    • I have but a very long time ago and can remember nothing about it at all. Which I suppose is a review of sorts
    • Addison Rae has 33m instagram followers, Slayyyter 667k. Also 15 to 7,5 million spotify listeners with Addison's last release being more than a year ago. Obviously these metrics aren't everything, but still there is a big gap in popularity between the two.
