Same, I liked it but on first listen it left me a little dissapointed, still stunning to hear but I overhyped it in my own head

Absolutely fantastic album from start to finish though, can't wait to listen again

yeah, no point imo. i'll give this album plenty more listens because it's radiohead, but if i'd never heard of them before i probably wouldn't bother. expect it to grow on me somewhat at least.

Very happy. Can't say how much yet as needs multiple listens but already easily better than KOL I reckon.

So much going on - guitar lines, strings, baselines, piano lines. The Numbers was a perfect example of this.

And I was massively apprehensive about TLW being on the album but I thought it turned out so much better than I expected.

Bit gutted it's not on Spotify. Don't really want to pay for a digital download to listen now and then get a free digital download with the vinyl next month.

EDIT - A generous mate who bought the special edition has given me one of his downloads :D

    • Yeh, the quiet camping also seems to be on the same side (broadly) as the bits of the festival that go on the latest (Far Out / Chai Waalahs / RTT until 4am). We're always in Tangerine Fields which is right behind the main stage and as soon as that and Rising Stage are done it's pretty quiet (midnight onwards) which I'd guess is pretty similar if you can hack taking all your gear from the car past the big tree in the middle and into the campsites that side.
    • Can't see Bimble line up anywhere - am I being dense and missing an obvious release somewhere?
    • Not expecting a tour imminently but Peter Gabriel would fit the vibes magnificently.
    • I have but a very long time ago and can remember nothing about it at all. Which I suppose is a review of sorts
    • Addison Rae has 33m instagram followers, Slayyyter 667k. Also 15 to 7,5 million spotify listeners with Addison's last release being more than a year ago. Obviously these metrics aren't everything, but still there is a big gap in popularity between the two.
