Burn the witch gets better with every listen.  Will be colossal live

I'm going to go out on a limb and say it is one of the best things they've ever recorded.  Instant, insistent and with an air of paranoia that is perfectly represented in the production.

In regards to them playing Glastonbury, is it still the case that Neil trusts his source, and everyone is hopeful? With biggest hopes for them subbing Adele, but possible chance of a secret set?

Pretty much sums it up. Except probably most of us are resigned to failure but a faint glimmer of hope tortures us daily.

It feels like it must be happening to me.  If they clash with Chvrches as Neil predicts I'll be sad, but to see them right now, at this point in their career would be something special.

Ah that probably explains it. I'll wait til I get home.

Loving track 3!

Speak for yourself I'm fully in, I recon it's happening

I've just seen the track list ends with true love waits, that's going to break me

This record is much more up my street compared with TKOL

Sat in the last corner of sun in my garden drinking rum and soaking it all in

Seems to be more eclectic, like In Rainbows or Hail to the Thief, from what we've heard so far and the snippets I listened to on Google Play.  Waiting for the curve ball.

    • Am a relative amateur in the ticket/tech shenanigans and not part of a large group etc. but personally preferred the F5 bashing approach and got through twice in recent yrs (plenty when didn't, mind) - 2023 but it crashed on me at the final hurdle and then again in 2024 where I held my nerve when it crashed again and managed to get.  Think now I am committed to volunteering if doing festivals as that's close to my heart, so happy to help others when the time comes round.   The most impressive I've seen was bus sales in 2022 when 2 mates casually bagged tickets while in San Sebastian, on a phone inside the stadium during a Real Sociedad v Man Utd game!
    • I wouldn’t be surprised if it was £425.  If I recall there was a significant jump about 10 years ago and with the prices of gigs significantly inflating in the last couple of years I can see another big jump coming.
    • I think they are just sold out ..... I find it highly unlikely that the entire arena wouldn't go on sale for a band the size of muse straight away.   Theres also some in those blocks on sale on resale sites
    • Personally, I do hope Fontaines headline next year. Feels like it's their time in terms of the contemporary element - I know 2028 could equally be but I think (and speaking as an old git) they are probably the most significant band to emerge for a good few years, and they've already accumulated 4 great albums, let alone adding 5th, to field a memorable setlist.
