Looks like some work going on towards the SE corner.  Also noticed there's a fairly steady stream of Hanson or Wainwright  lorries from the local quarry most days.

That's the craft field.

They've been putting a lot of drainage piping in, mainly in the market areas, for which I assume is waste water disposal for the food outlets.

They have been filling in the holes they have dug with large chippings.

Eavis drives a red landy doesn't he - this one doesn't look that red.

Michael's also doesn't have a covered back like the one in the image.

The first pic shows its red, but when it swung round and the rear door opened I did comment that I'm not sure its him now.  I also ignored the covered back as you can get clip on covers for pickup land rovers.

Plenty of more opportunities for sightings on the farm though!  It's not on the thingy, but the first sighting of the ribbon tower structure was April last year so won't expect much till then.

This evenings run report:

rain - none  - hurrah

wind - none   - hurrah

mud - lots but not too sticky. hurrah for gortex trainers

sun was dipping on the horizon. Looked beautiful as we ran down the railway track.

Tractor was scraping the railway track and putting down stones to level it.

New barn going up behind recycling

the wood pile by Toad Hall is eee-nor-mouse now.

Yeah it looked fairly waterlogged earlier in the week - lots of standing pools particularly on the tracks. You are very lucky being able to visit frequently. I'd give my eye teeth to be able to do the same.

the camera can be misleading, what looks like standing pools to you are just shallow puddles, there is no depth to them. The tracks are generally still hard under the slight top slop. There is a lot of stone chippings being dropped by the railway track and as the boss said, they are starting to spread it on the railway track. We run the track a couple of times a week, will keep you updated on progress.  Things are slowly starting to happen around the site in that early year meandering way.

There is also an ever growing pile of wood chippings on the east side, just off cockmills lane. it looks like they are booking early for woodchip.

like all farmers he has a collection. He's got at least two red ones, I'm pretty sure.

I walked past his house last weekend, and the only one that there's any pics & videos of him in on the internet was parked on his drive, along with a mini mentioned here I think there's only 1 red one. I think he did have a black one as well

Today's run report:

Lovely sunshine with no wind. Definitely time to put away the long leggings and dig out the shorts.

Mud along the railway track is maybe an inch at worst but drying nicely in the sun

No sign of any work being done today.

Cows at steanbow looked quite happy

Chicken house smelt bad...but that could have been Pilton digger's bottom

    • Dokken are touring until the end of 26 and rumoured to be touring Europe in 2027 according to all the fan forums.    https://www.dokken.net/   Don Dokken still has the serious pipes. Like the Stones though, they'll demand a (deserved) huge fee and probably massive stage alterations.    100k at this. The guys who dress up in the Redcoat costumes bonging faecal sludge from the longdrops.
