Headliners 2016

I can honestly say I have never had a McMuffin... but isn't it just a small muffin? (Or whatever you call it. I don't know what else to call it as to me, its a muffin)

chip butty, bread roll - occaisonally a bap, rarely a cob, muffin either sweet cakey things or mcmuffin type bread, definitely never called a barm or batch in these parts.

I dunno about size, but it isn't a bread roll, and from googling English muffins, neither are they.

It may be a small version of a muffin.

And anyone who gets a McDonalds breakfast item which isn't a sausage, egg and cheese bagel is doing it hugely wrong.

You're totally right. An English muffin is the bread used for eggs Benedict. Chip barm or butty, I'm not arsed. A chip butty is chips in a barmcake.

Muffin, cob, roll, bap. All wrong.

And barm is by no means restricted to Mereeyside.

It depends on the time of day - before midday it's a breakfast (sausage/bacon) bap. 

After midday it becomes a roll.

My Saturday night headliner was Mothership on WH last year and I had a good time so would take EW&F as a decent back up option.
